  • A little effort put into your appearance for the day can go along way. When you look good, you feel good & as cliche as it sounds, somehow it does find a way to filter into your mood ✨
So I’ve been trying to practice this bc the study room can become daunting! @diandraniavanna just makes it easier for me with her lash tint and lift service 🤗. Since these are my natural lashes, I can carry on with my regular workout schedule, wash my face, & apply mascara while still maintaining the curl and tint from the service.

⁣There was once a time when I was totally fearful of going out to eat because I didn’t have control over how many calories I was eating.  Luckily I’ve found ways to go out and enjoy myself while still staying on track.⁣

These are the tips I use myself and teach to all of my clients. There’s no need to stay home and cook all of your own meals, it just takes being a little more mindful.⁣
⁣
Look at the menu online and decide what you will order ahead of time, then reverse engineer your day. Stick to lean protein, fruits, and veggies so you have more calories to play with.⁣
⁣
Prioritize mostly protein and veggies for your main meal. But be careful about portion sizes. Protein servings can be huge, so stick to eating about a palm sized serving.⁣
⁣
Fill up a little before your main meal by ordering a salad instead of the calorie dense apps. Just be mindful of the extra nuts, cheese, and dressing. Order the dressing on the side and use your for to dip it in.⁣

Pick your one indulgence. If you want to drink, skip the bread basket or dessert and vice versa. It’s ok to  a little, just not on everything.⁣ ⁣
Dressings and sauces are often calorie bombs. Instead of having your salad or meal slathered with the stuff, ask for it on the side. That way you’re in control of how much you use.⁣

Veggies are a good choice, but cooks make them tastier by adding lots of butter, cream, or oil. To avoid adding hundreds of extra calories, order them steamed.⁣

I like to do training like this whenever I do a Delia’s week or active recovery week. Spreading volume over my whole upper body and then do a lower body day also doing less sets total to lower my total volume and drop the weight a bit also. Great way to let your CNS recover if you’ve been going super hard week after week!
