🐯🐇 #HappyEaster to you and your team from all of us at @tigerpawco. This little #TigerBunny hippity-hopped his way throughout our offices today, dispensing #Easter goodies, occasional profanity, ample high-fives, and a fair bit of wild laughter.
PSA that I say every Easter and will always say! Please do NOT get rabbits or chicks as gifts for your kids! Unless you are willing to make the 10+ year commitment to taking care of them, and realizing that rabbits require a lot of work (more work than cats!) if you end up having a rabbit and can not keep him/her, please at least do the responsible thing and find either a shelter or rescue to take them. Releasing a rabbit into the wild is a death sentence, and a painful one at that.
Below are the rabbits (and other animals) I have rescued over the past five years who were tossed out like garbage after the Easter holiday, or once kids went back to school in the fall and no longer had interest or time in them, or once they became too “big” and no longer cute.
If you learn of a rabbit that has either been released into the wild or that needs a home, please reach out to me and I will help in anyway I can.
