  • This variation of scorpion is not in my practice. I saw it a few times in my feed & decided to give it a try. It felt different from the classic scorpion (because CG is different), & as I attempted to lower my legs more, close to the end of the video, I almost fell off. Bending my legs is my auto reflex whenever I lose my balance in pincha regardless what shapes I’m in, though it might appear that I was transitioning to classic scorpion 😆 But I wasn’t, I was preparing to fall into forearm wheel & somehow the fall didn’t happen 😂

  • When I first started my journey, I was looking to lose weight. Really, I was looking for a quick fix- if I’m being honest. I just thought skinny meant self love. But what I didn’t realize was self love needs to come PRIOR to the hard work. You can’t work on you until you’re in tune with you. And yoga has helped me learn my body more than anything! .
So I said yes when my coach asked me to join her bootcamp because duh who doesn’t want to lose weight!

What truly happened in the group was life changing! I found these positive women, I found HOPE for change, I found a community that BELIEVED in me!! I said YES to lose weight but really I GAINED me! I gained the girl that I stuffed down with self doubt and negativity. I gained the ability to dream and have goals- if you asked me in 2017 if I ever thought I’d be a fitness coach I would have said HELL NO!!

This community is PRICELESS! Oh and in case you’re wondering, I did lose weight and I’ve even learned a healthy way of living. However, those are only side effects to everything else I gained!
.
So - to the girl (or guy) out there with no hope, motivation, or confidence, with all the self doubt in the world- I KNOW YOU because I WAS YOU! .
I KNOW you can do it, I know you can make the change!
You deserve to do this with a cheerleader next to you, and we have a whole group ready to cheer you on! Let’s chat!

Letting go of all that constant chatter in our heads isn't easy.
And if you're in the middle of some crisis; or feeling anger, resentment, fear, sadness, pain or any other negative emotion it's all too easy to allow those emotions  to swallow us up.
Just breath and let go all that hard feelings...... 🇪🇸

Y si estás en medio de alguna crisis; o sentir enojo, resentimiento, miedo, tristeza, dolor o cualquier otra emoción negativa es muy fácil permitir que esas emociones nos invadan.

  • It’s Wednesday and already halfway over... but this week is lab week!

This is a week that recognizes the hard work that is done in the laboratories, big and small, that can account for around 70% of a doctors decision towards a diagnosis.  I used to work in a blood bank making sure all the transfusions that happened in the middle of the night in my hospital went smoothly and that no one would have a horrible reaction.  Now I travel around the states to make sure our hardworking people in the lab are giving out the most accurate results from their instruments. We may not ever be the face of patient care, but there is a lot of work that is required to get these results and a lot of federal regulations that need to be met. I help labs follow these regulations and educate in any area that they may need help in to achieve the best results possible for all patients
.
Friday is my company’s lab week spirit day where we are to wear these socks to our labs. Anyone else who wants to join in should wear their crazy socks this Friday! Tag me so I can share the lab love 💚
