Snikkers has finally gone to Rainbow Bridge a couple days ago. That’s how long it’s taken me to work up the courage to post this. He was 19 yrs old which is pretty amazing for a dog. He was my 1st pup. Not the family dog but MY dog. When I first saw him as a pup, he was dragging a huge meaty leg bone under a truck to eat it sneakily. That’s when I knew he was the one for me. The most friendly and sweet-natured dog who never met a dog he didn’t like. I knew the day would come when he would have to go but it’s still heartbreaking. Just taking it one day at a time. But unfortunately it was his time. He was definitely loved and is absolutely missed.
RIP Snikkers. I love you and miss you so much.❤️ #jackrussells#jackrussellsofinstagram#jackrussellcross#jackrussellclub#jackrussellofig#jackrussellsofig#jackrusselllove#jrtofig#jrtofinstagram#jrtmix#jrtclub#snikkerdoo
“You get a strange feeling when you leave a place. Like you’ll not only miss the people you love, but you miss the person that you are at this time and place because you’ll never be this way again”
This picture was from when I first moved out on my own in BC. I was so happy to be discovering a whole new life. And that girl would never be able to imagine all the things these last 10 years have brought her. .
Good memories, a lot of loss including my beautiful Abbey that is in this picture with me and started this adventure with me, heartbreak over stupid boys, and so many laughs and new experiences I never would have expected to be so blessed to have.
It’s been a crazy ride. And this time next week will be the last day of my job. Here’s to new adventures and enjoying the time I have left in BC!
