  • David Cronenberg Double feature
The Brood (1979) IMDb states, "A man tries to uncover an unconventional psychologist's therapy techniques on his institutionalized wife, amidst a series of brutal murders." It was really awful, cheesy dialogue, and just not scary. Oliver Reed just overacted and ate up the scenery with bad dialogue. The creepy children were made up with horrible make-up prosthetics. I say skip it.
(4 out of 10) (R) Starring Oliver Reed, Samantha Eggar, Art Hindle, Henry Beckman, Barton Kelly, Nuala Fitzgerald, Juliana Kelly, Cindy Hinds, Candice Carveth, Susan Hogan, Ruth Mayer, and Felix Silla
Written & Directed by David Cronenberg ——- VideoDrome (1983) IMDb states, "When he acquires a different kind of show for his station, a sleazy cable-TV programmer begins to see his life and the future of media spin out of control in a terrifying new reality." I have no fucking clue what I watched other than really overdone practical effects, a living breathing TV and videocassette tape, and acted snuff film footage. Other than a very hot, red headed, very naked Debby Harry this film was garbage and a complete flop when it was released. James Woods couldn't even save it. (4 out of 10) (R) Starring James Woods, Debbie Harry, Sonja Smits, Peter Dvorsky, Leslie Carlson, Lynne Gorman, Jack Creley, and Julie Khaner

Dear Eric Roth,
_
My name is Andrea CALABRESE. I'm an award winning: actress, singer, TV director, dancer, audio technician, model and screenwriter. Let's try to communicate with each other, intelligently, before anyone else gets hurt due to severe "gross negligence" of the facts, shall we?
_
My family specializes in preventive medicine.
_
Logically speaking, would you rather see every person in Israel dead with their skin melting off their bones;
Or,
Give the right girl (a Dean's Honor List graduate with multiple college degrees) your screenplay to read?
_
Eric Roth, I've already proven my comprehension ability (regarding David Grann's screenplay) by writing the 17 page Study Guide that I sent to you on your Facebook page. Did you not receive it? If you haven't received it, yet, can I please have your email so I can send you a copy? My email is: besthollywoodprofessionals@gmail.com or DM me at IG: @AndreasExcellence .
_
I guarantee--that when you read my Study Guide--it will help you win lots of trophies for "Best Screenplay", as I--myself, have won, already. It was written with a 3.5million dollar education.
_
Eric, when you get a chance, you should really watch these three movies:
_
"Threads", "TheDayAfter", and "MiracleMile". If you, Eric Roth, give the wrong girl (a janitor who lies about her qualifications of doing brain surgery, for example), your screenplay, she won't be capable of performing the brain surgeries necessary--to keep everyone safe--and she'll cause all the patients to suffer lobotomies; whereas, had you given the screenplay to I-Andrea Calabrese, all the patients would have lived.
_
I have five generations of U.S. military service to this country, Eric Roth. Which troops do you support?
_
Do you not know that my Great-Grandfather got killed rescuing Jewish people from concentration camps in WWII? The reason I had to leave my Grandma's side 28 years ago (to move to Hollywood) was because she had to grow up without a father because he was an American soldier who was sent on a mission to Europe to rescue Jewish people from concentration camps and he got killed doing it.
_

  • Casino (1995): Directed by Martin Scorsese and starring Robert De Niro, Joe Pesci, and Sharon Stone, Casino tells the story of Sam Rothstein, a gambling expert who is hired to manage a casino on the Las Vegas strip by the Chicago Outfit. Following in the footsteps of 1990’s Goodfellas, Casino seems somewhat lost in its predecessor’s shadow as it delivers on many of the same ideas with a somewhat less interesting story. This can be seen with De Niro and Pesci both playing very similar roles as they did in that film - they both do it well but it rings of what we’ve already same before by the same crew. Sharon Stone earned an Academy Award nomination for her performance as Ginger McKenna and makes her presence know with a really committed performance of a severally flawed person in somewhat sympathetic way. The film is 3 hours long and there’s debate as to whether or not the film warrants its length. There are many plots and subplots that go on as it all revolves are De Niro’s character running the casino without a license and the consequences of him being found out but most of the story is focused purely on how he runs the day-to-day side of the things; granted these may be the most entertaining and interesting parts of the story but at times it doesn’t feel like it’s really going anywhere. This isn’t to say that the film isn’t engaging because it is, and the focus on De Niro and Stone’s relationship adds to the intrigue. Ultimately, the film’s biggest flaw is that it doesn’t try anything new with Scorsese clearly trying to recapture the heights of Goodfellas. Casino is by no means a bad film, in fact it’s really good, it’s just always going to be compared to a much better one and from someone as talented as Scorsese, you expect something just a bit more than we actually get here. Rating: 7.2.

  • “Meg, Meg, Meg, my sweet deluded little minion.” The nineties were a good time for diversity in female characterization: Megara, Esmeralda, Jasmine, Belle. Ladies who tell it like it is. Meg’s response to my bound was, “Hades, Schmades, but you might as well show me your best scheming pose.” She wasn’t...unimpressed—that’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

  • Once Upon A Time In America (1984)
Yapımı : 1984 - ABD , İtalya
Tür : Dram , Suç
Süre : 3 Saat 49 Dakika
IMDB Puanı : 8.4/10
Oyuncular : Robert De Niro , James Woods , Elizabeth McGovern , Joe Pesci , Jennifer Connelly
Senaryo : Sergio Leone , Leonardo Benvenuti , Enrico Medioli
Yönetmen : Sergio Leone

David 'Noodles' Aaronson ve arkadaşları 20'lerin New York'un da beraber büyümüşlerdir. 30'larda gangster dünyasında fırtına gibi esen sıkı dostlar zamanla dağılırlar. Fakat 60'ların sonunda Aaronson New York'a geri dönecek ve geçmişiyle yüzleşecektir.

  • I ❤️ #JamesWoods ... Well, yeah, because you’d drink the blood of wild goats for a nickel and he was too busy boinking anything that moved. The math was in your favor.
