👀👀 12 WEEK FADEOUT!! 👀👀
The NUMBER 1 question I get asked about vivid hair color is "how long does that kind of color last?" Well the honest answer is that it entirely depends on how you take care of it. The truth is that these colors will fade, all hair color does. But you can absolutely make these colors last by making some minor adjustments to your haircare routine!
1. Shampoo matters! DON'T do it often (1-2x a week) and use a really great sulphate free shampoo and conditioner! You get what you pay for here. The cheaper the products (dove, tresseme, suave, pantene) the more of your color you'll see washing down the drain. It's sad, but it's true.
2. Cold water! 💦💦The only water that should be on your hair is lukewarm to cold water. Hot Hot water is not only bad for your scalp but also blasts the outer layers of the hair strand wide open and lets your beautiful investment fade right out of your hair.
3. Limit heat styling, try to make your style last a couple days with hairsprays and dry shampoo. Stay out of the sun, salt water, or chlorinated pool water. Unfortunately mermaid hair doesn't do well after a swim.
Follow these simple steps and you could also have a 12 week fade out this beautiful!
P.s. all of these tips are also good for protecting blondes, brunettes, ombres, and any color service natural color or unnatural. If you want to get the absolute most out of your color service you are on the right track with this routine. 👍👍 This concludes my educational moment. 😉😉
