Here’s a quick combo I was practicing on the pads today while I jump in on the lads training session.
Right body kick
Interrupt their left knee
Right over hand
Left body punch
Right kick, right cross.
As always each shot prepares you for the next one and takes in to consideration how your opponent may act.
While interrupting their knee your hands will be on theirs. This means you can quickly push the uppercut through.
If the uppercut lands then the chin will be pushed up. This will mean they’re open for the over hand.
If they cover both these shots then you’re in prime position for the body shot.
If they block the body, then they’re open for the hook.
If they block the hook (or not) the force will knock them in to the kick.
If they block the kick then they’re open for the cross.
