Kalen Ballage was a RB prospect I was very high on coming out of Arizona State last season, but unfortunately landed in a very poor situation in Miami. With Adam Gase heading to New York, a new coach means Ballage has a new opportunity to impress and make a name for himself 💯.
Ballage possesses an impressive combination of size, speed, and power. Currently weighing in at 238 lbs, the Arizona State alumn posted an impressive combine last year which included a 4.46 40-yard dash. His vision is very solid, showing good patience before taking off, while he has also shown a willingness to give up his body for extra yards (which includes some impressive hurdles.) Ballage is also able to lineup anywhere on the line as a receiver, and truly possesses the ability to be a three-down back if given the opportunity.
Kenyan Drake is still going to be the clear lead back heading into training camp, and he could be somebody we're sleeping on as well. However Ballage is somebody I'll be targeting at the end of all my drafts, as I did last season. He's somebody you'll be able to snag in rounds 12-14 of all your drafts, and possesses the potential you typically aren't able to find that late in drafts. One injury to Kenyan Drake, and you have yourself a very solid RB you can insert immediately into your starting lineup. The reality is the majority of the players you grab at the end of your bench end up being dropped anyways during bye weeks, so it's a low-risk/high-reward type scenario.
Fun fact: Kalen Ballage holds the FBS record for most touchdowns in a collegiate game with eight total touchdowns in a game against Texas Tech. #fantasyfootball#fantasyfootballadvice#FFE#kalenballage#ffe19kalenballage#nfl#nfldraft#kenyandrake#dolphins@kalenballage@kalenballage
Potential #Dolphins target Ed Oliver had a crazy good pro day this week. Ed ran the short shuttle in 4.19 seconds, while RB Saquon Barkley ran it in 4.24 seconds. Do you think he will fall to 13, tell me what you think in the comments below👇 #Phinsland
