  • I’m lucky because when I’m working towards my goals (like having abs without needing to pull my skin up to reveal them 😝) being able to see them coming through is a huge motivator for me. But the real MVP’s in my eyes are the people who have made huge (& sustainable) transformations in the face of what might look like an impossible goal.  Those guys are the real deal because they have NAILED the ability to break down a big  goal into smaller ones to stay disciplined (I didn’t say motivated!!) when they can’t even visualise their goal. I’m so impressed and proud of you guys - and you’re mentally stronger and tougher than I’ll ever be ❤️ Just because someone isn’t ‘shredded’ or a typical vision of ‘fit’ doesn’t give anyone the right to assume they haven’t been putting in the work. I hear too many gym ‘experts’ talking **** about others in the gym not doing things optimally or perfectly. Leave them alone!! Everyone is learning.

Fitness/health/happiness comes in MANY shapes and sizes and no one has the right to dictate how that looks and feels for anyone besides themselves!! I don’t care if you do Yoga/eat donuts for daily snacks/BodyPump/CrossFit - I’ll never comment on what you’re doing unless you ask for an opinion. Even then, I don’t always give my opinions out because I’m not an expert 🙄 If you’re not hurting anyone I will 100% empower you to do your thing!! ❤️❤️

  • Roasted Root Vegg Buddha Bowl🍠
This is one of my all time favorite dishes to throw together easily. Any veggie will work, simple roast in the oven until tender then assemble with some rice or quinoa, fresh crunchy veggies, fresh greens, sprouts, nuts and/or seeds and drizzle on your favorite dressing. I prefer one with citrus and tahini. Also perfect for a fridge clean out and/or meal prep. Enjoy xx

Ingredients⠀
3/4 cup raw cashews⠀
1/4 cup raw walnuts⠀
1/2 cup oat flour⠀
1 cup soft pitted medjool dates⠀
1 tsp vanilla extract ⠀
1/2 cup non dairy chocolate chips⠀
⠀
Instructions ⠀
Add cashews and walnuts to the food processor and process until and they form a fine flour. Add flour, dates, and vanilla and process again until dough forms. Fold in chocolate chips and roll into balls. Store in the fridge until ready to eat. ⠀

  • Vegan Baked Donuts w/ Pink Pitaya Glaze 🍩💗

So light and fluffy! We love how cute they turned out and how easy they were to make by @dash_of_delightful .
Ingredients:
For the Donuts:
Dry
-1 cup flour, loosely packed
-1/3 cup sugar
-1 tsp baking powder
-1/2 tsp baking soda
-1/2 tsp salt
Wet
-2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
-1 flax egg (1tbsp ground flaxseed + 3tbsp water-mix separately and set aside)
-1/3 cup non dairy milk
-2 tbsp coconut milk creamer
-1/2 tbsp vanilla extract
.
For the Glaze:
-1/2 cup powdered sugar
-1/2 tsp vanilla extract
-1/8-1/4 tsp @unicornsuperfoods pink pitaya powder
-1-2 tbsp non dairy milk or coconut creamer
.
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350° and prepare your donut pan (I used a 6 donut @nordicwareusa pan). In a large bowl whisk together all of the dry ingredients and set aside. In small bowl whisk together all of the wet ingredients until fully blended.  Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and gently fold.  Be careful not to over-mix or you will end up with very dense donuts. Fill donut cavities about 3/4 of the way full**. Place in the oven and bake for 12-14 minutes.  Remove from oven and place donuts on wire rack to cool. (You will want the donuts to be slightly warm when glazing). **I think its easier to use a piping bag or a ziplock bag to pipe batter into the pan.  It gives a more consistent shape and you won’t end up with lumpy donuts. .
For the glaze:
In small bowl, whisk together all of the glaze ingredients except for the milk/creamer.  Add milk/creamer in small amounts and stir until the desired consistency is reached.
Take the warm donuts and dip into the glaze.  Return to wire rack and allow to set for about 30-45 minutes at room temperature before serving. (Be sure too add sprinkles immediately after glazing). Enjoy! 🥰

Babes, rice crispy treats are an absolute childhood favourite of mine! Here is a QUICK, NO BAKE & HEALTHY version, packed with healthy fats to keep you satisfied! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🥣INGREDIENTS ( makes 16 mini squares) 
Serving 1 rice crispy square: | Calories: 73| Carbohydrates 9,3g | Protein: 1,9g | Fat: 3,8g
1/2 cup nut butter
1/3 cup honey
2 cups puffed rice ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🥣Method: mix all ingredients up in a bowl. Press into a brownie pan. Top with toppings of choice and place in freezer for a minimum of 2-3 hours until firm! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

  • This post goes out to my long lost (but not forgotten) love: overnight oats. I’ve had a long love affair with smoothies, but at last the oats and i are back together & better than ever. This is a messy breakfast, no aesthetic marble board ova here! Perfect for taking on the go to class, eating in the car while driving (safely pls), or just eating at home because they are just so good. I do my oats a lil different, so make sure you save & try them for yourself! #dEATS 👉🏻 1/2 cup rolled oats, 1/2 cup vanilla almond milk, 2 tbs of maple syrup, 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder + sprinkle of cinnamon & stir. Let sit overnight. In the morning (optional, but 10/10 recommend) heat your jar in the microwave for 1 minute 🔥 Trust me, do it. Then add in peanut butter, granola, coconut flakes, banana slices, and a little more maple syrup. It’s heaven on earth, and i stand by that. Overnight oats are my type of fast food 😋 Happy Thursday!! 💕

1 1/2 cups canned chickpeas
1/2 cup natural peanut butter, or sunflower butter for a nut free option
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/4 cup raw turbinado or coconut sugar
1 1/3 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 cup chopped non dairy dark chocolate ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Instructions: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Oil or line 18 mini muffin tins with paper liners. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Add all ingredients except chocolate to a food processor and process until a smooth dough forms. Remove for processor blade and fold chocolate into batter. Divide batter evenly among the mini muffin cups. Bake on middle oven rack 12-15 minutes, or until edges are just beginning to brown. Cool completely before eating! These are even better the next day (if you can wait that long).

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Oil or line 18 mini muffin tins with paper liners. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
    Add all ingredients except chocolate to a food processor and process until a smooth dough forms. Remove for processor blade and fold chocolate into batter. Divide batter evenly among the mini muffin cups. Bake on middle oven rack 12-15 minutes, or until edges are just beginning to brown. Cool completely before eating! These are even better the next day (if you can wait that long).

  • Two easy freezer waffles for breakfast today 🧇 Sautéed some banana to go on top of one and it’s seriously like dessert! I just warm up a pan, add some cinnamon/sugar and they’re ready in minutes. Made an iced coffee to go with it and I’m set. Don’t have my internship until this afternoon so it’s a slow morning around here. Hope y’all have a great morning 🌞

  • Today I fell off the wagon.

It’s day 4, and this is me after sleeping in to 11...and then having a 4 hour nap at 2.
•
I didn’t make my step goal, and I didn’t get my water goal in either...but that’s okay.
•
Today I just wasn’t feeling it...it was one of those days where I felt down and out and I just wanted to sleep.
•
And I know working out could have improved my mood and today could have be completely different. But I chose not to.

  • Simple easy oat crepes
• 1 cup oat flour
• 1 cup milk of choice • 2 tbsp coconut oil, melted (or any oil)
• 2 tbsp honey or maple
Mix all ingredients in a bowl until combined. Heat a non stick pan on medium heat with some oil. Pour about 1/4 cup of the batter to the pan and let it cook for 3-4 minutes. Flip and fry for additional 1-2 minutes. Serve with filling of choice. Here I am using Greek yogurt with beet powder and honey.

I’m already SO sore and it’s day three lol but like I’ve told some of you via DM - I use to play college ball 🏀 and preseason was the hardest thing mentally and physically.. I never had asthma, ever. ever. But I some how got sport induced asthma and needed an inhaler to make it through preseason and practices that were torture due to our loss the night before.. it makes me laugh how intense those days were 🥴🙌🏻 but I’ve pushed through some SORE days.. I played on a fractured foot.. probably a whole season.. so mentally in pretty tough but man I have to push myself to remind how mentally tough I am.. because my body totally disagrees 😂 anyways today I swapped my #cycle #liss for a #walking LISS - I forgot to tell my watch I was done so it says 82 mins.. nope.
