1 1/4 lbs extra large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/4 cup butter
1 Tbsp minced garlic (3 cloves)
2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
Salt and pepper
1/8 tsp Red pepper flakes, or to taste (optional)
2 Tbsp minced fresh parsley
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place shrimp in baking dish.
Melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add garlic and saute 30 seconds. Alternately melt butter with garlic in a small microwave safe dish in microwave. Stir lemon into butter mixture.
Pour butter mixture over shrimp in baking dish, season with salt and pepper and red pepper flakes, toss shrimp then spread into an even layer.
Bake in preheated oven until shrimp are cooked through (pink and opaque) about 9 - 13 minutes. Sprinkle with parsley and serve warm, spooning sauce over shrimp.

Easter lunch :) asparagus, squash casserole and ham that I ate in 1/2 of a lavash pita. Yummy 😍 I also tried some brownie batter hummus and OMG it’s like FROSTING 😱😍I’ll definitely be buying that for myself lol.
There were cheesy potatoes, there was corn casserole, there was bread. There were A LOT of things. I had ham, brocolli and a little salad. Do I feel like I missed out? Maybe a little. But that's not what Easter is about. I'm blessed to have a Savior that would die for me. I'm blessed to have a family whom I love to the heavens and back. I'm blessed to have air in my lungs. Happy Easter everyone!
🤔 IS IT POSSIBLE TO LOSE FAT WITHOUT COUNTING CALORIES??
In my opinion, yes! In fact—it’s my preferred method and I’m going to show you the most important ways to do that.
🍽 FASTING—No need to get scientific with this. Simply wait as long as you can into the day until your first meal. For me, I drink coffee and fast until around noon or 1pm daily! Somedays I can go until 7pm, other days I get hungry around 10am (post-leg day) 😂. So listen to your body. TIP: ONLY eat when TRULY hungry!
🍱 FOOD CHOICE—Rather than tracking every single calorie, simply base your ENTIRE diet around foods that are high in protein/nutrients, very low in carbs, and have a moderate amount of fats! For me, I eat beef, eggs, fish, oysters, chicken, turkey, occasional bacon. These foods naturally provide me a great macro breakdown—without needing to track everything. (But most days, I’m around 200+G protein, 100-130g fat).
💪🏼 TRAINING STYLE—Too much high intensity training (weights, HIIT, tabata, sprints) drain your muscle glycogen, CNS, and spike appetite…aka you eat more and get fat! I keep cardio at light intensity (jogging, hiking, stairmaster, brisk walks) and I keep lifting to three days a week. More bodybuilding style lifting. I’m not competing in powerlifting—no need for crazy heavy weights to build a good physique.
⏰ SLEEP—This one is the most UNDERRATED aspect ever! In my opinion—this is the king. When I get 8 hours of sleep, my body seems to get leaner and stronger than ever. If you want to drop stubborn body fat…GET TO BED!
In my opinion, those are the pillars of “intuitive” or “instinctive” fat loss! After those, I would probably draw attention to making sure you are getting adequate micronutrients. But not as important as the above steps for immediate fat loss!

Asparagus with garlic cooked in the skillet with real butter. I have never ate asparagus in my life until I started doing keto a month ago. I used to say ew when I see it 😂 I actually like it tge way I cook it anyway 😁
I don’t follow any keto recipe. I simply cook my own and cook it the way I like it. I cook most of my foods with real butter and add salt and pepper. It depends what I cook though, if it’s fish I squeeze fresh lemon on it. #ketomeals#ketofood
Meal prepping this week has been a lifesavor for me. From ready made cheese cake to salads already prep. If you are having trouble with time management then do not be afraid of two things... 1. The freezer 2. Prepping your meals in advance
Set oven at 350°
Grill on medium high 3-4minutes each side Place in oven for 5-6 minutes *Take out oven and out of pan to let rest
1 tbs butter
1 tbs avocado oil
1 tsp minced roast garlic
Directions *season shrimp with salt and pepper *heat oil and butter in a sauté pan. Once warm toss in garlic and sauté for a minute or two. *add shrimp to pan and simmer shrimp on each side for 2-3 minutes.
1/2 tbs butter
1/2 tbs olive oil
Directions *Sauté on medium-high about 6-8 mins depending on size of asparagus.
White Wine Shallot Cream Sauce
3/8 cup heavy whipping cream
3 tbs white wine
2 tbs butter
3 cloves garlic
1/2 tsp Fresh cracked pepper
1/4 tsp salt
Directions *In a saucepan simmer minced shallot and garlic a couple mins. *add heavy whipping cream, white wine, salt and pepper. *simmer 6-8 minutes or until sauce has thickened .
What a beautiful Easter Sunday. After church and lunch with the family, we set out to work on some more house projects. Painting or deck was in order today. So why not grill out? I bring you a burger bun bacon 😂😜😍 This 🍔 beauty is a nice burger cooked medium well so it was sturdy enough to cut in half and use as my bun for bacon and the rest of the delicious toppings. Tried out the new @ghughessugarfree steak sauce on it. While it's not A1, it is pretty darn tasty!! _________________________________________________

Instant Pot Beef Stew with Bacon and Mushrooms

This Instant Pot Beef Stew with Bacon and Mushrooms is so full of flavor and so tender! When you use your electric pressure cooker, you can have beef stew in under an hour!
4 Slices Thick Cut Bacon, Sliced
2-3 Pounds Beef Stew Meat
1 teaspoon Salt
1/2 Large Onion, Diced
3 Carrots, Peeled and Diced
8 Ounces Baby Bell Mushrooms, Quartered
1/2 teaspoon Dried Thyme
2 Cups Beef Broth
Xanthan gum, Flour, or Cornstarch for thickening (see notes)
In the electric pressure cooker, press the sauté button and adjust until "more" is highlighted. When the display reads hot, add the diced bacon. Cook the bacon until it is crisp, remove it to drain on paper towels, reserving the bacon grease in the pot.
In a large bowl, add the beef stew meat and salt. Add half of the beef to the Instant Pot and let it sauté until brown. Remove to a plate and add the rest of the beef to sauté until brown.
Hit the cancel button, then add all of the beef to the pot, the onion, carrots, mushrooms, thyme, and beef broth. Be sure to scrape any burned bits from the bottom of the pot.
Place the lid on the pot, set the valve to sealing, and set to pressure cook for 35 minutes. When the pot is finished cooking, let the pressure release naturally for 10 minutes, then release the rest of the pressure manually by turning the valve.
Remove the lid, give the beef stew a big stir, and serve in bowls Sprinkle the reserved cooked bacon on top of each bowl.
Nutrition per serving: 310 calories / 12g fat / 5g carbs / 1g fiber / 46g protein

Took a couple of weeks break from strict keto. Was sick for a week, then had too many family gettogethers and went away for Easter break, so decided to live life. Didn't go overboard. I feel my tastebuds and relationship with food has changed for the better!

1/3 c. shredded Cheddar
8 slices bacon
Heat broiler and line a small baking sheet with foil.
Slice each avocado in half and remove the pits. Peel the skin off of each avocado.
Fill two of the halves with cheese, then replace with the other avocado halves. Wrap each avocado with 4 slices of bacon.
Place bacon-wrapped avocados on the prepared baking sheet and broil until the bacon is crispy on top, about 5 minutes. Very carefully, flip the avocado using tongs and continue to cook until crispy all over, about 5 minutes per side.
Cut in half crosswise and serve immediately.
