Introducing @beccas_battle : How did I get started? I started out keeping it very simple- cut out sugar, sodas (even diet), breads, chips, rice and pastas. I stuck to simple recipes and made sure I had food prepped and ready to go so I didn’t go scavenging for food. I took baby steps guys. I didn’t dive right into Keto because quite honestly I didn’t understand everything behind it so I needed to research more on it. I didn’t start out fasting🤷🏻♀️ I let my body go into it naturally. My point: how do you start losing weight?- you just start taking baby steps to your goal. Don’t wait until you have all the answers on what you’re suppose to do for this journey, you can figure all that out along the way. Non of us knew everything we know now before we started. Every person you follow for inspiration started at square one and were just as lost as you. The thing we all have in common is we just started one day and didn’t quit. We didn’t know everything about Keto or whatever way of eating or exercise program got us to our goals. We learned it along the way. Don’t think you need to know it all to get to the goal. Just start. Take it one day at a time and figure out the small stuff along the way. Fuel yourself with research and try to understand what’s going on in your body🖤🖤you don’t need to know it all, all you need to know is that you want this and you aren’t going to quit this time! You got this🖤🖤

  • CARROT CAKE PANCAKES 😍🙌🏼🥕 Whipped up this fluffy stack on this beautiful morning then layered @siggisdairy vanilla yogurt in between each pancake in place of cream cheese frosting and the results were phenom!😭👏🏼💯🍰 Tastes like a decadent slice of carrot cake but lower in sugar and higher in protein thanks to siggis. Ingredients:
1/2 cup @siggisdairy vanilla yogurt 
1 egg
1 cup plus one tablespoon oat flour (simply grind oats in a blender until it resembles flour)
1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/2 cup shredded carrots 
1 tbsp cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ginger
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 banana, mashed

Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Cook pancakes 2-3 minutes per side. For the topping: combine 1 container @siggisdairy vanilla triple cream or the reg variety with 1 scoop vanilla collagen powder (optional) + 1 tablespoon lemon. Layer in between each pancake. Enjoy with a little monkfruit or regular maple syrup for an extra treat ✨🐰

  • Say what? Orange Ginger Stir-fry on Keto?? Yes with GH Hughs Orange Ginger Marinade, miracle noodles, sugar snap peas,mushrooms, fresh garlic and Costco pulled pork.  The marinade is 3carbs per tbsp; I added 2tbsp per serving.  The drink is 2 carbs and tastes refreshing.  Swipe to see pics of both.  This whole meal was @10 carbs but I only had about 5 carbs today so still fits in my macros. 🍴Chicken and Salmon Meal Prep🍴

Ingredients:
(for 4 servings)
1 large, boneless, skinless chicken breast
1 ½ cups broccoli floret
1 ½ cups cauliflower florets
oil, for drizzling
salt, to taste
black pepper, to taste
3 tablespoons pesto
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 salmon fillet
1 yellow squash, diced
1 red bell pepper, diced
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
½ teaspoon garlic powder

Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
- On the first sheet, place the chicken, #broccoli, and #cauliflower with space between each piece.
- Drizzle the chicken and veggies with oil, and season with salt and pepper.
- Spoon the pesto on top of the chicken and spread into a thick, even layer.
- Season the veggies with the oregano and toss them on the sheet so that everything is evenly coated.
- Bake for 8 minutes, leaving room in the oven for the second baking sheet.
- On the second baking sheet, place the salmon, yellow squash, and bell pepper with enough space between each piece.
- Drizzle the salmon and veggies with oil, and season with salt and pepper.
- Squeeze the fresh lemon juice over the salmon fillet.
- Season the veggies with garlic powder and toss them on the sheet so that everything is evenly coated.
- Add the second tray to the oven and bake both sheets for 12 minutes, until the chicken and salmon are both cooked through.
- Slice the #chicken and #salmon and place an assortment of #protein and #veggies in food storage containers. These containers can be stored in the fridge for up to 4 days.
- To serve, remove the lid from the container and microwave until desired temperature is reached.
