I promise it felt impossible. I couldn’t workout for 7 minutes without feeling like my heart was going to explode. I would run out of breath walking up stairs. But I didn’t give up. Now I lift heavy shit & it’s the best part of my day. Most importantly, I am HEALTHY 💕 Don’t feel discouraged if you’re just starting your journey. It takes time but I promise if I can do it you can too 💖.

  • 💭¿Qué son los electrolitos?
Los electrolitos son minerales que tenemos en la sangre. Los principales son: sodio, magnesio y potasio.

Cuando se practica el ayuno intermitente y se lleva una alimentación baja en carbohidratos, el cuerpo libera más agua en vez de almacenarla.
💭¿Porque perdemos electrolitos?
Los carbohidratos favorecen la retención de líquido y sodio. Al reducirlos, reduce la insulina y se elimina el exceso de agua y sal en el cuerpo. De hecho, cuando se empieza una dieta baja en carbos, solemos perder mucho peso durante la primera semana, casi siempre es en su mayoría agua.

Evita sentirte mal. Si estás empezando a comer bajo en carbohidratos, los electrolitos son indispensables. Si estás empezando alimentacion cetogenica, disminuyes los síntomas del “ketoflu”.
💭¿Cómo reponemos electrolitos?
Yo me preparo una bebida a base de agua mineral o natural (1 litro), el jugo de 1 limón y 1/2 cucharadita de sal de muy buena calidad, no procesada ni yodada. Puede ser sal del Himalaya, sal marina, sal maldón, real salt y por las noches tomo citrato de magnesio.

💥Los electrolitos comerciales son azúcar. Prepáralos tú mism@.

Dosis diaria recomendada:
•Sodio(sal): 15 gramos diarios
•Potasio: Se puede usar sal lite, sin embargo yo Prefiero obtenerlo de los vegetales ya que tomar suplementos de potasio No es recomendable.
•Magnesio: citrato de magnesio 300-500 mg diarios por la noche (yo necesito más de eso).

And not only in the physical pk still see me there with almost 300 pounds I'm still the same with the same self esteem. But as a person the changes I have made for my improvement ... Mommy always said to me: "in the street there is nothing but problems", "do not live for people live for you", "stop burning money and think about tomorrow"

Guild’s event is where I first met @isaacstegman and took on some of my first clients 3 years ago. What a rad time out here in San Diego with amazing human beings and an inspiring organization.

Stoked to see the Kaizen Tribe again in a few days but for now, I’m excited to get home to @jciake and Cheddar.

I decided on 4-10-17 that I no longer wanted to make the same choices I had in the past. At 44 years of age, weighing 404.4 lbs, struggling to choose whether to get busy living or busy dying, I chose life.

I made choices.
I made good choices.
I made consistently good choices.
Not PERFECT choices, but I did not give up!
I will not give up.

Those good choices I’ve made consistency, overtime have added up to big results.

I’m now 46, it’s been two years on this Clean Eating, natural weight loss journey to wellness in every way Mind + Body + Soul and I have NO regrets. I’ve lost over -200 lbs around my body 💪 but more weight than I can calculate between my ears! 🧠 .
I have never starved myself, eliminated or deprived! I have been sensible, kept it simple and that has made it sustainable.

Sesame Sauce⁠⠀
2 tbsp soy sauce⁠⠀
1 tbsp toasted sesame seed oil⁠⠀
2 tbsp So Nourished GOLD⁠⠀
1 tbsp vinegar⁠⠀
ginger (1 cm cube)⁠⠀
1 clove garlic⁠⠀
2 tbsp sesame seeds⁠⠀
1/4 tsp xanthan gum⁠⠀
⁠⠀
INSTRUCTIONS:⁠⠀
1. To make your batter, combine a large egg with a tablespoon of arrowroot powder.⁠⠀
2. Whisk very well and place your bite sized chicken thigh pieces in. Make sure to coat them all over.⁠⠀
3. Heat up a tablespoon of toasted sesame seed oil in a large pan and add the chicken thighs. Leave a bit of room in between each one. Work in two batches if necessary; you want them to fry, not steam. Make sure you're gentle when moving and flipping the chicken. If you're too rough, the breading will come off and the sesame sauce won't stick well.⁠⠀
4. While the chicken thighs are cooking (about 10 minutes), make your sesame sauce by combing all the sauce ingredients and whisking very well.⁠⠀
5. When all the chicken is cooked through, add your sesame sauce to the pan and stir to combine. Let this cook for an additional 5 minutes.⁠⠀
6. When the sauce has thickened and warmed up, take the chicken and add it to a bed of cooked broccoli and serve with a sprinkle of more sesame seeds and green onion. Enjoy!⁠⠀
