Montreal Canada- Where it all started internationally
These photos were from the summer of 2016. Prior to this trip I never would have imagined traveling outside of the country. I thought there wasn’t anything outside of Boston, yet alone the country. I’ve been to a few states within the United States. But outside of it? Forget about it! But there was an opportunity I was apart of. This involved celebrating my fiancé’s sister’s birthday in Montreal for a weekend in the summer. And man that experience changed my viewpoints of the world.
I got to experience a different society, different people, different atmosphere, different language, etc. So I say thank you @tulssmarielle for inspiring me all this try something outside my comfort zone.
Since then I’ve been to so many places I will share on this account.
Best investment so far this year is purchasing some basketball shoes. Last time I played was 10 months ago and it feels good to be out here just to get away 🏀
Player Spotlight 🏀: Kyrie Irving
Last night, Kyrie reminded us that he is in fact a MONSTER in the playoffs, and we're only witnessing the beginning of his prime.
V IND (4/17): 37 pts, 6 reb, 7 ast, 1 stl, 2 blk, 57.7 FG%, 60.0 3P%
Facing as high as a 12 point deficit last night, we were able to witness that Irving is, in fact, one of, if not THE clutchest players in the NBA. He leads the league in clutch field goals made (clutch: the last five minutes of the fourth quarter where the game is within 5 points or less) with 57, shooting an ABSURD 49.6 FG%.
Kyrie also had his best playmaking season to date, with his previous season high for assists per game was 6.1 in the 2013-14 season.
As many of us know, Kyrie has a $21.3 million player option he can opt out of, and we may see him make a polarizing decision that could change the NBA landscape, possibly teaming back up with LeBron again in Los Angeles. We won't know for sure until July 1st.
Thoughts? How far are the Celtics going in the playoffs?
