It's time for our annual listeners survey!
TKS is looking forward to the future, but we need your help. Take our anonymous listener survey to provide your feedback for Season 3. To thank you for your time, you'll be entered into an optional drawing for a $30 Starbucks or Target gift card - it's your choice. Visit the link in bio to fill it out.
⚠️ Please note that entering the drawing requires you to enter your email address, which will no longer make your answers anonymous ⚠️
Link in bio! This week @procrastinationplanetpodcast couldn't record a new episode due to schedule madness. However, we remastered our literary crushes episode to cut the filler, keep the fun, and hopefully fix the newbie sound wonk. We'll have new content next week, but in the meantime enjoy a blast from the past!
EPISODE 32!!!! Did you know that We're Back?! In this episode, Tamara gives an update on the Anna Delvey (aka Anna Sorokin) case. It was first discussed in episode 7.
Rebecca provides a true crime case. It is the case of Stephanie "Shea" Graham. She was a 19 year old who went missing. She got in a truck with a man her friends did not recognize and was never seen again.
Here I am! You might not yet know me, but you’ll come to love me 🙏🏾. Episode 00 of Ready Or Not Radio will reveal a bit of my background, my motivation for launching this show, and what you have to look forward to in future episodes. Launch date to be announced. Tell a friend and watch this space! #readyornotradio

WHAT'S THE BIG DEAL ABOUT REVIEWS AND RATINGS FOR YOUR PODCAST?
You've probably heard a podcast or two ask for reviews, subscriptions and ratings of their podcast.
But you may be wondering how much they matter.
I don't think anyone but Apple exactly knows their algorithm, but the general consensus is that consistent and increasing positive reviews and ratings as well as overall downloads is a good indicator to them that people are loving your podcast and that it would likely be interesting to others.
This is really similar to how Facebook or Instagrams' algorithm will make it more likely your post will show up in someone's feed if people have been interacting with it, right?
Plus, in this day and age reviews do matter to new customers/listeners, right?
Not only will your podcast show up closer to the top when someone searches for one like yours if you have subscriptions, ratings, and reviews, but if someone finds your show it builds confidence and may make that person more likely to give it a listen if they can see other people loving it!
In this online world, a lot of people love podcasts, businesses, etc but don't take the time to leave a review.
So consider giving them a little incentive.
I've seen several podcasts have good results with offering a giveaway, for example a low ticket item or free coaching call once a month to someone that leaves a review.
You can do this in a one time giveaway, but doing it consistently will encourage consistent review, which is great for your podcast.
Having said that, take a minute to go and leave a little love for your favorite podcast and pay it forward! ❤️

We are so thankful for all our listeners and we know you are waiting for another episode.... we did not forget! A new episode will be posted later this week. Sometimes life get busy, learn to be flexible and give yourself grace!
PODCASTS ARE THE NEW BLOGS.
I heard that from a coach once, and you know, I think it's true.
Blogs are awesome, and still get a lot of traffic.
But many people love to take in content by listening to it rather than reading, especially if they are short on time.
(Did you know that the most recent stats show that over 100 million Americans alone listen to podcasts weekly?!)
You can listen to a podcast while you're driving your kids to school or waiting in the car line, while you're working out, while you are doing chores or taking a relaxing bath (reminder to self to take more baths!).
And that means that your ideal client can get YOUR message at all of those times, too!
Having a podcast is a super fun way to be more visible and share your message with the world.
How amazing is it to see something you did up on iTunes?!
Many mamas I work with find, though, that although they LOVE creating the episodes and the content often flows freely, between working on and in their own business plus raising their family that the backend editing work becomes cumbersome and just isn't their jam.
And that's ok.
Because it's MY jam!
I totally nerd out over making my clients' podcasts sound fantastic so that when someone finds their podcast to listen to, it sounds great and they stick around.
Editing is my jam, so I can get the job done much faster and with better results, giving you time back to focus on the things that light you up. 💕
Podcasting should be fun and stress-free.
Let's work together to make it that way for you.

Has anyone told you that you were just a little too much? Or too confident? Yeah-me too. And I’m here to say, don’t listen to those people! We are here in this earth to be unapologetically ourselves.
That’s what I’m talking about on this weeks episode. If you haven’t listened already please go tune in. This is such an important conversation to have so let’s have it together! Drop a comment below if you’ve ever been in this situation and how you found the courage to dial it UP! ⬆️
What do all of my most successful podcast clients have in common?
They are totally and unapologetically themselves.
And it comes through in their podcasts!
People resonate with them and their messages.
And they stick around as loyal listeners and often lead to loyal clients.
Many of us have been told in the past to tone it down a bit... we are too loud, talk too much, swear too much, laugh too loudly, or whatever the case may be. (I've definitely been told several of those things!)
And so it can be easy to fall into the trap of wanting to have a podcast that pleases everyone so you can get the most listeners.
But girl, podcasting is so cool because listeners really want to relate to you and they stick around because it feels like you are speaking to them.
(And there are over 100 million people listening to podcasts each week - in America alone!!)
It won't serve you to try to fit your podcast in some arbitrary box and try to please everyone out of fear that no one will listen if you do it your way.
As I was editing a recent podcast episode for one of my clients (The Rita Made Me Do It Show!), this quote really stuck out to me and I feel that it not only applies in business but also in podcasting:
"You must alienate in order to resonate" - Rita Goodroe
So girl...when you are planning and recording your podcast episodes, be yourself! Let it all shine through!
It's ok if you turn some people off.
You'll resonate more with others. (With the RIGHT listeners!)
And it'll really pay off for you 😍
WE WOULD SAY “We’re back!” BUT IN THIS SEASON’S CASE, WE NEVER LEFT! Picking up right where Season 4 left off, SEASON 5 is HERE and the theme for this season of #CraftyAssFemale is #REFLECTION - because you don’t release almost 100 episodes (WOW!) of a hit #podcast , have THEE best #conversations with some of THEE best people, and NOT have anything to #reflect on along the way! .
. @rukristin talks about how she #reflects through what she watches on TV, her #currentlylist , and her #Thursday3 practice. @amandarosezamp brings up the need to check out and not have to intentionally reflect, but how she has this background hum of reflection always going on even still. What has been YOUR experience? .
PS - Could this week’s episode graphic GET any more ridiculous?! 🌸🍑🧡
