Snow at the mountains is a fantastic ingredient to get more drama into a composition. So althouh there were predicted no clouds on that day, I went up to the opposite mountain, hopefully the air in the alps moves up and produces at least a few little clouds for me. Humidity, high-level temperature and wind spoke for that, so i thought.
It was so hard to get up there, I had to hike for hours through the deep, soft snow - without snowshoes! I searched for a composition and waited for further hours for clouds. And finally, exactly a few minutes before sunset, they came - from the direction I predicted. And I saw my mountain with all the glory - golden light, shadows, contrasts, a compelling foreground, balanced snow/grass in the midground with amazing lines. It was an absolutely fantastic feeling and i'm so happy, that i waited.
And no 10 minutes later, the clouds were gone again... Yes, I caught them... ;) What do you think? Should I add this to my limited edition prints?
Do you want to know what this wonderful cave is called? There are corners of Catalonia that in my view things are not overcrowded and this place is a clear example. We will spend the weekend climbing the path of the broca from where you can see the beautiful marsh of celestial waters, visiting caves, hiking and completely alone. A pleasure for your eyes within reach of anyone !! 🤩.

You can see, in Kawachinagano 50km from Osaka, many japanese traditional houses that are built on narrow area between mountain forest and small valley river. These are made by wood for structure and by specified clay for walls and are roofed by fired tiles Kawara. Stone wall reinforce step-shaped ground that houses and rice field are on.
