“I don’t give a damn what you think, I’m doing this for me..” 🎤
As the weeks start to tick down and the weight starts to come off, I get more and more people start to share their opinion about MY prep and MY body. It actually amazes me how blunt and rude people can be when it comes to me doing something good for *extra emphasis* MYSELF. 🤔
I CONSTANTLY get people telling me that I’m already too skinny to be cutting for a show. Telling me that the “muscular” women in competitions aren’t attractive. Complaining that I’m “no fun” because I no longer take shots or share food with them at the bar while I’m working.
This process has really shown me that people HATE when you start doing something good for yourself. People HATE when their own unhealthy habits are brought to light and there’s actually someone strong enough to break their own. People HATE success when it has nothing to do with them. 🤷🏼♀️
At this point, I have no patience for the people who try to cast negativity and hate into my life because of what I decide to do for MYSELF. I’ve been sharpening my scissors, and I’m cutting ties left and right. ✂️
I can’t stress enough.. if you have those type of anchors in your life, then FUCK THEM. Life is too short to be held down by people who care too much about what other people are doing instead of fixing their own bullshit in their life. 😴
Surround yourself with people who care and support you. Who can look beyond themselves and their own opinions to understand your own. Who can bring joy and positivity into your life rather than tearing you down. Exchange your pennies for dollars and I promise you will feel richer. 🏆💰
For those of you who take the time to read these posts, send me amazing messages and love, support me through this rough journey.. thank you. I love you all so much, truly. 🖤

Any bench press should be done wth an arch.
It’s simple. For an exercise to be safe the joints during the lift need to be stable.
The shoulder joint is not stable.
It requires the muscles surrounding the shoulder joint to create stability.
Those muscles all just happen to be on your back.
The easiest way to recruit the muscle is chest up, shoulders back and down.
If you do that you automatically create an arch in your back.
Tuck your feet under as far as possible, push your heels down and now your hips are stable.
There ya go, bench press done with stability across the whole body.
Note: if you have a messed up back don’t try and do this.
You shouldn’t be benching if you can’t at least pull your shoulders back and down! @leanandcleanstrength @missjessymac showing awesome technique 👌😁

Getting my tropical groove on with my first ever attempt at a Coconut Chia Pudding! 👍🏼 Votes please! 🤷🏻♀️ I’ve been meaning to attempt this for aaaaages and I’ve gotta say, it didn’t disappoint! Super easy too! 🍓🥥🥭 Give it a try...👇🏼 1/4 cup chia seeds,
2 tbsp shredded coconut,
1 & 1/4 cup light coconut milk,
1 tsp vanilla extract,
2 tbsp maple syrup.
Mix all ingredients together.
Let sit for 10 mins stirring every 2-3 mins.
Cover and place in fridge for 1-2 hrs (although I though it was better the next day) Top with your favourite berries & seeds & enjoy! 👌🏼 Seriously, you don’t need to be a Masterchef to manage that. Easy as! 🤘🏼
