Interesting meeting with Cristian, the owner of @romaniankitschmuseum. Kitsch has always been part of his life and also part of the romanian style and culture in many ways like politics, religion, houses etc. The museum is an experience for the visitor, as Cristian said and as he could improved during his travels. A funny way to understand a part of rmanian culture and recent history. The museum is also open to donation...don't wait!

Tracing the footsteps of the San (Tjwa) in Zimbabwe...Trailer
This ethno-archaeological research will help to give a vivid description and definition of who the San people are so as to understand their past by identifying the activities in their lives. However, the existence of the rock art in the San communities in Matabeleland provides us with an opportunity to understand some aspects about the art through the direct descendants. The project seeks to increase the body of knowledge of the San community in Tsholotsho through analyzing and interpreting the art found in the area.
Family of 37 years old Sanelisiwe Nkomo, ward 7 Tsholotsho , Donda village who is struggling for her life after being attacked by an elephant last week. The human wild life conflict continues as buffaloes also invaded the area.
Matatitali ruins, Tsholotsho, Zimbabwe. Similar to the famous Great Zimbabwe ruins. The size and unique making of the Great Zimbabwe Ruins has made many researchers doubt if the walls were built by encient Africans.
They give credit of the innovations there to the Portugues traders that operated in the area.
There is no history of Portugues visiting Matalitali in history the area was inhabited by the San and the Khalanga. The question is if locals were too uncivilised to be that innovative back then, who built the walls in Matalitali.
The trailer..... I still feel like I should go back and do more as soon as I get enough funding and better equipment to bring out a better San story to the world @lancetinayedocumentaries #lancetinayedocumentaries
Because of terraine and wild life, farm produce is scarce. The normadic community used to depend on hunting too for their livelyhood in the old days.
Now that hunting is illegal the only game they get is carcasses of elephants that would have been brought down by hunting parties that operate in the area.
Besides the water wors the Zimbabwean San communities are not positioned on the best geographical location. The nearest hospital is Phumula mission hospital so is the nearest high school and that would be close to 60 km from Sifulasengwe.
Sifulasengwe which has a huge percentage of the 1500 san in the country is situated on top of a salt belt that makes their water salty and unusable thus they cannot depend on borehole water but little water in small sanctuaries.
Human animal conflict looms when elephants want to share the little water, the big guys do not spare some for the community after drinking and taking a bath.
A VISIT TO THE LAST ZIMBABWEAN SAN COMMUNITY
The most unique and interesting aspect about khoi-san community well known as the San that made me embark on a long journey is the fact that they are the first inhabitants of the country Zimbabwe and most countries in the southern Africa region.
The last recorded number confirms that their number in Zimbabwe is around 2500 meaning they are a minority group rapidly getting close to extinction yet the Zimbabwean and Southern African history evolves around the early iron edge group.

Ain.A friend and helper of Rani. They are like sisters from another mother.Different world but same pain where they went through together. An interesting character who likes to make people smile, make crack jokes and disturb Rani most of the time. She is funny as hell. And,she likes to take the food where Rani prepares earlier for customers when she is hungry (fun fact) and gets scolding by her.The part when she gets scolding is the best part i enjoyed laughing too.She is good at communicating and attracting customers. Most of the people knows her from the area. She is super kind towards people yet cheeky.

She got a thailand’s-takrut tattoo on back below of her head. Most of the people believe the tattoo protects them from bad luck and blessed with wealth and luck.Interestingly, she got that large size of burn on her left hand and when i asked her what happened, she said that a dry iron box just fell facing right on her hand while it was on extremely high temperature. That’s really hurts. And her right eye, erm.Nope,i am not telling that,I am sorry.Finaly, the gold necklace she is wearing with the name of herself and her husband as well,John.Yes,her husband gifted that to her.I somehow managed and tried my level best to capture all the details while she was rushing here and there because opening a busy stall is not a joke. They will be so focused and you must have the target for every moment to give your shots and pay attention to your subject. 📷 @lethivagar .

The stylish uncle. The helper for Rani.He have been working with her for years. His job is to cut, wash the meats, make drinks and serve food the customers as well.I call him the Stylish Uncle it is because he have the stylish vintage look which he made me admire him a lot. He's tall and he will be always with his old vintage version of cigar which really makes him cool though.I even focused the texture on his face because all the old folks won't be having the right texture on their so my eyes did captured that.I suggest that he can be a vintage modelling for my next shoot possibly.Guys, this is the most important thing and funniest thing that i got to know just by today itself that Rani doesn't even know his name until now! She will just call him, "Uncle".That's it and he is a Muslim.

Rani,S.Rani Subramaniam.Owns a small stall inside her house.Interestingly, people from that area calls her the Spice Queen.Of course the name she got is from the special dishes. What makes her dishes special and people calls her the Spice Queen? Well she opens her stall from 3.00 p.m. to 3.a.m.And her special dish is Chatti Sorru (Pot Rice). She got Chicken pot rice,Pork pot rice and Monitor pot rice aka Monitor lizard pot rice.Magic happens when adds the spice to the curry, mix with the rice and serve the customers.Obviously, they loved it.@lethivagar is a daily customer though.Sometimes even customers will order the food earlier because all will be done in a day and Rani is so sociable with her customers. Most of the time she will ask the customers whether they want the Pot rice to be spicy or normal,it is because the spice she adds to the curry is extremely hot so she and the customers will be aware as well.
