  • Признаюсь, довольно сложно даётся то, чего в жизни ты никогда не умел, но интересно! Это я про фуд фотографию.
Я могу снять по 80-90 фотографий одного блюда, а получается только несколько удачных, на практике я часто забываю то, что хотела попробовать, а иногда вовсе теряю в этом всем смысл 🥀

Но потом вспоминаю, что все с чего-то начинают, и начинают с малого, часто неидеального. Хах, бывает, беру пример даже с себя, но в других сферах - мечтаю о большом саде, где будет расти свежая зелень, куда буду выходить и срывать томаты для обеденного салата, но а сейчас я посадила зелень в небольшой тарелке на подоконнике и жду, когда взойдет салат кресс 🌿

А ещё я очень хочу поделиться рецептами, которые накопила (ведь они очень вкусные!), но с поиском своего стиля понимаю, что фотографии тех блюд уже не катят 🤪 Подумала, что поделюсь как-нибудь ими в историях - не пропадать же даром!

А сегодня делюсь с тобой рецептом чечевицы болоньезе с грибами 🍄
На 3-4 порции.
1 луковица, нарезанная мелко
3 зубчика чеснока, рубленных
10 грибов, нарезанных
1 чашка красной чечевицы, замоченной и отваренной 
1 1/2 ст.л прованских трав или бализика 
2-3 ст.л томатное пюре 
2 ст.л аджики
Соль, черный перец по вкусу
Зелень, оливки для подачи

• Обжарить нарезанный лук с щепоткой морской соли на сковороде с крышкой на слабом / среднем огне до прозрачности. Добавить чеснок, нарезанные грибы, немного воды и тушить в течение 3-5 минут, пока грибы не станут мягкими, но не полностью готовыми.
• Смешать с томатным пюре и аджикой, добавить базилик, еще немного соли и черного перца.  Смешать и дать нагреться. Попробуй соус, чтобы найти правильный аромат и вкус.
• После этого можно уже можно добавить чечевицу и оставить все для нагрева и пропитки еще минут 5-10 на огне.
Не забудь приготовить параллельно пасту или крупу, с которой ты будешь подавать соус! 
У нас этот он хорошо идет с пастой, рисом, киноа или пшеном. Пробуй готовить, отмечай меня и пусть тебе будет вкусно ❤️🍝

  • I am feeling SO charged about taking better care of myself and having an amazing sense of accomplishment.. when I was a kid my Mom always had a rice and beans on the stove..I recently made a Vegan Chili with Black lentils for @jonahhands and @thejourneyofjennlarson and they swore it tasted better than meat chili.. Sorry @sheehansmom I have replaced your rice and beans with my chili! 18grams of protein in one cup and lots of fiber to get me going! it’s super easy to make.. Should I go live tonight and make it?   • I don’t know about you, but my summer feels crazy already! With the boys finishing up pre-school and kindergarten, the extra social engagements, bbqs and bachelorette/weddings, plus the usual work and mom life, it can feel a little hectic. Trying to do my best to enjoy it all and not get too overwhelmed. Sometimes easier said than done, not going to lie🤪
Anything that makes my life easier, like recipes that can be made a head of time, I definitely welcome! Like this Mediterranean lentil salad, a perfect recipe for the summer months and is a great one to prep ahead - it keeps well for a few days in the fridge! Super refreshing and healthy + I love topping it with half of a sliced avocado right before I’m about to eat it, making it extra fulfilling🥑👌🏼

1 cup lentils (1ст красной чечевицы)
1 onion ( лук)
1 carrot (морковь)
1 tbs tomato paste (1ст л томат пасты)
4 cup of water (4 ст воды или бульона)

  • It's good to be home. So my momma made "sambaar" for lunch yesterday, and it really is one if the best I've ever had. Sambaar is a South Indian lentil based vegetable stew or chowder, cooked with tamarind broth. We eat it with rice or chapati or bread, with any carb really.

  • It took me a while to try @sumplusthings in Boulevard but I finally did and I loved it. The place is well designed in every aspect and has lots of natural light which makes it a great option during the day. I highly recommend trying the Avocado & tomato, lentil salad and the beetroot salad. Also try the passion fruit mojito.

[gluten-free, plantbased /vegan friendly] 
Cold Winter days call for warm comfort meals.
Butternut and Lentil Curry 😁

Recipe:
2 Tb Avocado oil (use preferred oil) 
600 g Butternut Veg Soup Mix(It has butternut, potato, celery and onion. Bought from PnP)
1/2 tsp crushed turmeric
1/2 tsp crushed garlic
1/2 tsp crushed green chilli
1/2 tsp crushed ginger
1 tsp onion powder
1 Tb curry powder (I used medium)
1/2 c red split lentils
1  Knorr Vegetable stock pot
TT Natural Seasoning (The one I used has sea salt, whole black pepper, garlic, parsley and origanum)
1 Tb Tomato paste
2 Tb Rice Flour 
Method:
Add oil to a hot pot, to which add the vegetables. Stir, and add in the crushed roots, chilli and garlic. Add the curry and onion powder and mix to combine with the vegetables. To which add in the lentils, stirring to further combine.
Dilute stock cube with 1lt water, add to the pot. Bring to a boil then reduce to a simmer for 15 minutes. 
Make a slurry by mixing the tomato paste, rice flour and 1 cup water. Add this to the pot and gently stir in. Let it simmer for 5 more minutes, or until tender, and season to taste. 
I had to add in an extra cup of water during the last simmering minutes due to the fast evaporation, adjust accordingly.

Served with papadums, topped with coconut flakes and fresh coriander.
