I posted this image of the talented @aerialist.tay a year ago today. I really had no idea that it would blow up like it did. No idea. Since then it's been featured on thousands of pages, large & small. Crazy. Bizarre. Interesting. Nice. I really just wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone who has appreciated my work. Everyone who has followed, liked, commented, DM'd, bought a print, hired me for a shoot, the kind words, etc. I don't always have the time to respond to everyone even though I'd like to. So, THANK YOU EVERYBODY! I'm overwhelmed by your love and support 🤙🏼 You have an epic photo or a video to share? Why not use the hashtag #roamtocreate and tag us @roamtocreate there?

So guys, I thought I’d like to tell you that this is going to be my very last post... of the year.
And what a year it’s been, a huge thanks to all of you for following along and supporting my photography.
To everyone that has interacted on my posts, checked out my website, bought my prints and that I’ve meet and worked with - a huge THANK YOU. I’ve meet so many amazing people through photograph this year and I feel full of gratitude.
I’ve pushed myself and discovered new skills in areas of photograph that really excite me. I can’t wait for next year with some incredible plans and projects on the horizon.
Enjoy your Christmas and new year, have an incredible time. I’m off for an awesome trip away with @allycorke and will see you guys at some point in mid January. .
In the meantime please get in touch if you would like to work with me. I cover weddings through to landscape work, and aim to capture and spread good vibes through my photos.
Peace & love ✌️
As parents we’re taught to teach our kids to be good humans...confession: sometimes this human is a better human than I am! Thank you for teaching me some things about kindness. You’re heart is always overfilled with love ❤️ my girl.
Having friends who are up for a hike is a blessing.
First of all kids motivate each other.
Secondly. I love talking to my son about everything and anything, but grown up conversation while hiking is always welcomed. .
Friends know places you don’t and it’s always great to share ideas. 💕

During our safety course we covered a variety of topics including first aid and patient assessment. We performed rescue scenarios, and multiple burial beacon searches as well. Another topic we discussed was decision making. Being a skier who loves backcountry terrain, deciding when and where to ski can be very challenging. The more time I spend at courses like IPRW I feel more and more comfortable saying, “no, today is not the day to ski in the Backcountry.” This incident occurred last season during a snowstorm in Colorado. It had been snowing heavily for most the day and we made a ski cut on some terrain above this section and didn’t get anything to slide. My ski partner for the day was my buddy Colter and he was very familiar with this terrain having skied it many times before. On this specific section he mentioned that since it was early season the end of the run could be rocky with what he termed “hot rocks” (this is the reason I stopped before the end of the run). We decided to ski the run and I went first.
Could have gone with more snow and less rain this week. Tried my best to take advantage of the shit weather - with my finals coming up next week I forced myself to make the responsible decision not ski and head home to finish up what I had left for school work this semester. While it isn’t what I’d prefer to be doing there is something to be said of the relief of getting it done - knowing that all I have to do is press submit a few times next week and it’s another 15 credits completed is a great feeling, one that i’ll have to celebrate with more slope time and less school time!

Kendi bozkırının yalnızlığında, bir damla suyun olmadığı gönül diyarlarında, bulutların cimrileştiği, toprağın umutları yeşertmediği bir gelecekte, aldanan insan ne hazin hikayeler bırakır ardında.

“To romanticise the world is to make us aware of the magic, mystery and wonder of the world; it is to educate the senses to see the ordinary as extraordinary, the familiar as strange, the mundane as sacred, the finite as infinite.”-Novalis
Tis the season for gift giving in our beautiful capitalist society! Just a casual ask for the folks that actually read captions that you try and use paper wrapping, avoid sparkles and plastic ribbons where possible. Or reuse from the recycle! My roommate just made all our Christmas tree decorations out of things in our blue bin. ,
The only thing we should find on our beaches are these beauties 🤓

@nrlewis and I are slowly wrapping up the year with a TON of editing. Finally started on some Iceland photos. Stay tuned!
