After a quick 30 hours it was time to leave again. Unfortunately the weather gods were not in my favour this time. A lot of heavy rain and thunderstorms made it 2 challenging days off flying and not much time on the beach and on the water. Better luck next time! 📸 @richardintheworld

Remind yourself: you can do anything you set your mind to ✨!
This is why we fly!!! It’s FUN! Couldn’t do Aeros tonight due to poor vis so we flew a quick formation.....best thing was my friend @isabella_curtis was off to do an IMC lesson in the other aircraft. Amazing!

Ich mache es immer wenn ich privat unterwegs bin...
EN: Welcome on board!
Who takes a look in the cockpit when boarding the plane?
I always do that when traveling for leisure...
Everyone needs a little motivation in life (👆🏻see what I did there? #motivationessentialoil ) You just need to know what you want in life, keep your eyes on the prize, and start moving in that direction with intention. You don’t need to know HOW you are going to get there- you just need to know where you are going, and trust me, you will eventually arrive!
Take my hubs, for example. He did everything you absolutely SHOULD NOT DO if you want to be a fighter pilot. Dropped out of high school at age 17. Enlisted in the military underage. Spent 8 years in the opposite direction of his desires. But still he dreamed. 🚀
Somebody up the chain of command saw his potential, gave him sound advice and took a chance on him. Hubs got his GED in the mail, so he could apply for a Marine Corps college-prep program. He gathered the necessary paperwork, got the authorized signatures and procured the requisite recommendations. And off to college he went.
At school he discovered his love of learning. He studied foreign languages and traveled abroad (this time as a student, not a service member.) Upon graduation, he earned his commission. Years after his commission, he earned his wings. And years after his wings, he finally became a fighter. It was 15 years in the making, when most guys do it in 3.
I tell you all this because if anyone is a poster child for “shouldn’t have made it,” it’s my husband. Raised in poverty. Single mom. Bad neighborhood. Most of his childhood friends ended up in gangs or in jail. But even though my husband took the windiest path known to man, he never let go of his dream.
When you focus on a goal with all your heart, and you believe that you CAN achieve it, then the simple truth is... YOU CAN. Even if you don’t know how, even if you start a hundred times in the wrong direction. Keep your focus on where you are going and you will find yourself there, wondering how you arrived. 🧠
Never underestimate the power of holding fast to your dream- all things are possible. Even if it takes 15 years. #matterofmotivation#daretodreambig
