My clients have fantastic senses of humour 😂
I left the calcium dissolver at his house after treating their shower screen with it to remove the build up our harsh Adelaide water can leave on glass screens and shower frames.
It’s non toxic, gentle on your fixtures and fittings but hard on build up.
WARNING: not to be used as face wash 🤣
Centre yourself to be calm, confident and in control and get that slower and deeper rhythm with the breath going.
Bring consciously into your mind and focus for as long as it feels good a time in your life you were so determined to do something no obstacle stood in your way. Even if you have to think a bit or write some down, dig really deep as it is there and you probably have more than one.
As you think about the situation take a breath to the centre and on your out breath with this memory in mind I want you to say deeply in side your mind. “ Stronger.” Do this a couple more times and with different memories if you can.
For the last minute or two focus on what you could use your strength and determination to do differently today. What would you begin to notice if you were tapping into your inner strengths, determination whilst feeling calmer, more confident and in control? How would it feel if you achieved something new today?
*~ * A Fathers love can never be replaced. Im so lucky to have a part of him yes, But that doesn't mend my broken heart. Or fix the time to share with him, or to give him a hug and kiss again. Some kids take their fathers for granted and it breaks my heart. As i see this going on im sitting here wishing I could just see my dad again. Some kids don't even see how lucky they are to have their dad in their life. A lot of kids grow up with out a father in their life. So please everyone please don't take anyone for granted life is way to short!

#mondaymotivation never forgetting how far I have come. It’s been a busy weekend & a lot of treats, but I’ve been active & still had workouts/runs. This week I’ll still be keeping active but will have on plan & off plan meals due to being with the family, but that’s what it is all about, not restricting yourself, & having what you want & not feeling guilty because you had a pizza or a few meals out. We all need to enjoy ourselves when it’s holiday time, the important part is getting back on track 100% when it’s over. I missed beach week
My "vacation" was a hospitalization
That could have ended everything for me
I took my "health" for granted
I didn't think about the crap I put in my body
Lived on coffe, chocolate and ice cream
Thought I HAD to live life always stressed
Medicated with Motrin and Tylenol daily
Drank my week away🍻 every weekend
Didn't develop or appreciate what my body could physically do
Saw exercise as something I "should do"
Or as punishment/atonement for my eating
Didn't find time for me
make my wellness a priority
In fact even feeling "sick" didn't get my attention
Until it developed into congestive heart failure and kidney failure secondary to strep related complications (swipe to see)
a really scary week in the hospital
as they worked to
treat the infection,
get rid of the fluid I was retaining while not completely shutting down my struggling kidneys,
work with the deceased cardiac function, ventricular enlargement, and heart muscle damage
that had already been done
I will NEVER forget
And I NEVER WANT to forget
Because out of that week
Has come my strong
And among the biggest blessings of my life -a reverence and appreciation for our "human condition"
The realization that my "excuses"
For not taking care of me
Were a bit of fear of what that might be
a lot of lazy
I have found that healthy living
Is not punishment or deprivation
But feels amazing and makes enhances everything

Feeling the need to be busy all the time is a trauma response and fear-based distraction from what you’d be forced to acknowledge and feel if you slowed down. .
Up until around this time last year, I had spent as long as I can remember focusing on living the busiest life possible.
I even had great pride in telling people ‘ohhh I’m SO busy’, and let me tell you I WAS busy!
Well, firstly because society portrays ‘being busy’ as being successful and that’s what I thought was expected of me 🙅🏼♀️ Slowing down and ‘just being’ made me feel guilty that I ‘should’ be busy. .
Secondly, I was afraid to slow down and ‘just be’ with myself and my thoughts. I was fearful of what I may find there, so I kept busy😬
I keep myself SO ridiculously busy that this time last year I reached burn out and suffered adrenal fatigue.
Seems the universe had a much different plan for me. One that didn’t involve being busy, instead one that involved meditation, yoga, quieting the mind and body, and just being!
To be honest initially this was NOT easy for me and something that I still now have to consciously practice. .
I feel so many of us keep ourselves ‘busy’ for all the wrong reasons.
Being busy does not mean you’re successful, or you’re popular, or you’ve got your shit together. .
I encourage you to have a look at your day to day life and be honest with yourself on where you could slow down for a bit and JUST BE?
Stop the rush!
Stop the busyness! .
Don’t be in such a hurry to get through life, it goes way too fast as it is. .

Everyday is family day, but Sundays are special. We look forward to @elevationchurch in the mornings, getting outdoors and making lasting memories. I used to not understand this at all and worked 7 days a week, treating Sunday the same as a Monday. Take a day of rest, recharge your batteries, focus on your personal relationships and make memories - you’ve earned it!
