SEAFOOD BOIL (Just how I love it! )❤️
Seafood boil just as the name implies is just boiling seafood in a flavor packed liquid.
Seafood: Wash thoroughly, devein if needed and soak in warm water and salt until ready to be added. Be careful not to add too much salt while cooking the actual food. .
Most people cook some ingredients separately but I think its a waste of my time. Let me break it down for you, that way you understand the concept from a bigger picture. The overall cooking time for not super soft baby potatoes is between 20-25mins, which is overall cooking time. Add the potatoes first, followed by lobsters, crawfish and corn which takes about 10-12 mins. This should be immediately be succeeded by frozen crab legs with a cooking time of 3-5mins and same for shrimps. With this method, you are not overcooking and all the ingredients are well fused. .
Sauce: Melt one and half stick of unsalted butter, add the onion garlic and ginger blend from the sauce. Add guajillo to give it a rich red color and stir. Only cook for 3mins and add spices (seasoning, paprika, cayenne, pepper flakes, lemon juice and salt. Add seafood broth, stir and cook for 10mins. .
