Inspired by a family reunion in Sequim, Washington (the Lavender 'Capital' of North America), Ellen Karcher, a former NJ State Senator, decided to plant her first 150 lavender plants on her family farm in Morganville, NJ. Today, nearly 2,000 plants later, Pleasant Valley Lavender is open to the public. On nearly ten rolling acres, the family has planted a variety of French and English Lavender, and from it creating a beautiful range of handmade skincare and food products, all with a base of fresh, fragrant lavender fresh from the soil of a local NJ farm.

Not going to lie. I kind of hesitate sharing this with you guys because this spreading knife isn’t something I’m proud of or anything that looks great, but my buddy @demaderaatx encouraged me with his post yesterday to be honest. It’s not always about the final finished product or those cool shots. In fact most of the learning is done when you fail pretty badly. That’s when you know you’ll get better. •
Stay humble friends and always strive to learn and challenge yourself!
