A magical forest. Chairs wearing ballet shoes. Hot pink sofas as far as the eye can see. If a restaurant had just one of these things, we’d be pretty intrigued right now. But when that place has all of these things, and a Mayfair postcode to boot, we’re practically straining at the leash to get inside. sketch is the creation of restaurateur Mourad Mazouz and celebrated chef Pierre Gagnaire, and every inch of it practically begs to be Instagrammed. For starters, check out these funky stairs. sketch is actually a hub of four seperate restaurants, each with their own spectacular design and accompanying menu. Here’s our guide to where and what to eat…

Mine was definitely the year 2015 when I moved to London and lived in a local British fam working as an aupair.

💡The difference between dry-aged and wet-aged 🥩: When the meat is dry-aged, the lactic acid which is breaking the dried proteins in the meat down, drip down and the proteins are broken down instead of the natural enzymes.
Wet aged maturing gives a more sour, but juicier meat than dry-ageing since the meat becomes sourer in a vacuum. This is because the lactic acid cannot evaporate/drop down.
