  • Many people visit London and are excited to see the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, but many don’t realize that there are significant differences in the pageantry depending if HRH is in residence or not. When we were there in late June, the Queen was actually in, so we were treated to the full display. I never did find out who was in the carriage during the spectacle. Let me know if you have any insight...The date was June 25, 2019.

  • I am a weird person who struggles to celebrate victories in my life, big or small. Anytime something great happens, I have a voice in my head that tries to downplay it every single time. I started getting “tour tattoos” last year as a way to represent major milestones in my career and I plan to get one for every new country I tour in. I find that it helps me by serving as a visual reminder that I really did do something worth being proud of. Today I had the pleasure of getting inked by @imanol.lara from @vagabond_tattoostudio who created this incredible piece of art for me. I chose to get a rose in England because my mums name is Rose and she’s from England and I love her to bits. I love how this turned out and you should definitely hit up Imanol if you’re ever in London 🙏🏽🖤

  • Westminster Abbey was actually more impressive this times around than it was my last visit to England almost 25 years ago! I was better able to appreciate the history of all the burials sites and memorials housed in its walls. One of the most fabulous parts was seeing commemorations to authors, poets, scientists, musicians, and more all housed there...especially the scientists: Charles Darwin, Sir Isaac Newton, James Maxwell, George Graham, Michael Faraday, Lord Kelvin, James Joule, and even Stephen Hawkins. The tower that houses the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Gallery was quite a hike up but offered breathtaking views of the cathedral inside and out.

  • 🇬🇧 People keep saying London is depressing, sad & full of darkness.
But you could be in the most beautiful island and still feel disconnected and alone! Our inner-verse created our outer-verse!
It doesn’t matter where you are, you will make it seem bad!
Is London like all cities in need of some love and care?

YES MOST CERTAINLY!

And this is what I have spent all day doing! I have been making as many people smile and feel loved today as I possibly could!
When I left the airport, I asked a man for the prices of the underground and I made sure to be extra sweet and caring. Even though he was reserved and reluctant at first, with a few words I got him cracking a smile and laughing with me. He left with a spring in his step!

When I had to chance trains there was no lift or escalator, but MASSIVE stairs I would have had to schlepp 2 suitcases and 2 bags up. I looked around for some strong men to help me, but before I could open my mouth they said: “would you like some help with that?” And I replied ever so sweetly: “Oh gentlemen, that would be so appreciated.” On the bus, a van with three young worker guys pulled up next to us, they were right next to me. I was radiating so much love, they couldn’t help but smile. Then I gave them a wave and they waved. And then laughed and smiled some more. We kept getting stuck in traffic, so it got embarrassing and we just kept laughing and being embarrassed. But we all so happy at the comical situation.
When I got home I asked an other nice man to carry up my suitcases, even though he was on the phone, he did it! Then we had a nice little chat and I thanked him so so much! That after my 35 hour trip he was there for me!

On my way to my Soho House meeting, I bought the Soho House Events manager the most beautiful rose bush plant I have ever seen, it was so stunning. And she was overjoyed!
And it went on and on! Talking to their waiter who was from Barcelona, getting free wine! Finally getting driven one hour home by my friend @reecerichmusic !
See, it doesn’t matter where we are, it’s about what we decide to make of it.
If you decided to be a real life angel on this Earth today, what would you do differently?
