Y’all know what??
I promote self-love, hard work, and dedication to not only myself but the gym, for myself. I love the hype.
I love showing people what caring about yourself can look like. Not only is my personal health important to me but my image in all aspects. Do I let trolls dictate how I live my life, absolutely not. But in my opinion the love we feel from others is what makes us inch a pinch at a time towards bettering ourselves, and loving what/who we are.
I may have found peace in the way I look at myself,
as well as others but in all reality..
sexual appeal really has nothing to do with looks and everything to do with energy.
A whole other aspect of my life is 90% energy felt.
I’m a happy lil thang but I do have my days
AND THATS OKAY! I love how in depth I am with my emotions. I love being able to feel deeply. It’s humane! Makes me feel more alive.
So next time you are sad, BE SAD!

  • Couple days late on this, but I’m 27 now. •
Only a few days in. Yesterday I spent a lot of money getting my car fixed, and today I took a long nap and ate an ice cream cone, so...I guess you could say being a year older still has its ups and downs. 😂

  • I recently started working out an amazing female focused coworking space, @bealuminary , and I am partnering with them on April 8th to teach a workshop about...you guessed it... Loving Our Bodies! 
As the weather begins to warm up, the inevitable anxiety around our bodies begins. Having more skin exposed. Going on vacations. Wearing a bathing suit. 
It can feel vulnerable and scary.

This workshop is intended to support women in building a more positive body image and healing their relationship with food so that they can be present and enjoy life this summer (and year round). I would love to have you there and feel free to bring a friend or 2 that you think might enjoy it. 
It's amazing what happens when women come together to share and witness each other's experiences.

My boyfriend and I took a trip up to Palm Springs over the weekend to see some of his family and we decided to take the long way home to take in this year’s super bloom. Due to the heavy rains SoCal got this winter, this year’s super bloom is expected to be the largest and longest lasting.

The pictures I took definitely doesn’t do it any justice but it was absolutely breathtaking to see the desert, which is usually just sand rocks and cacti, so colorful and full of life. If you’re in the Southern California area - this is definitely a must see. 🌼🌵

It has been a long way for me to accept my body.

Ich finde es wichtig, zu sehen und zu akzeptieren, dass Menschen nicht gleich sind, weder deren Persönlichkeiten noch deren Körper. Und es ist noch wichtiger zu verstehen, dass es auch genau so sein soll. Wie eintönig wäre diese Welt, wenn alle Menschen genau gleich wären.
Jeder Mensch ist auf seine Weiße schön und perfekt und vor allem genau richtig. Nur die heutigen Schönheitsmaßstäbe sind absolut absurd und für die meisten nicht zu erreichen.
Deshalb möchte ich euch sagen: Sucht die Fehler nicht bei eurem Körper, sondern bei dem unrealistischen Schönheitsideal, das sowieso ständig wechseln und dem ihr schon allein deshalb nie gerecht werden könnt.♀️💙

  • TWIX BARS - the natural ingredient version!

Dont let the process scare you. It's really simple and goodness they are to die for.

INGREDIENTS:

Shortbread layer-
1/2 c coconut flour
1/2 c almond flour
1/3 c cococut oil (melted)
3 tbsp honey (warmed)

Carmel layer-
1/2 c almond butter
1/4 c coconut oil
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 c maple syrup
Pinch sea salt

Chocolate layer-
1/2 c dark chocolate chips or 1 dark choc bar
1 tbsp coconut oil
14 tsp sea salt

INSTRUCTIONS:

Shortbread layer-
Pre-heat oven 350° Combine all ingredients. Stir out all flour crumbles. Line 9x9 baking dish with parchment paper and pack down shortbread mixture. Bake 10-12 min or until it starts to turn golden brown. Remove and let cool completely.

Carmel layer-
Combine all ingredients in saucepan over med-low heat and heat until completely liquified, whisking together. Remove from heat and let cool completely.

Chocolate layer-
Combine all ingredients in saucepan. Heat over stove and stir until liquified.

Twix bars-
Once shortbread and caramel sauce are cooled completely, pour caramel sauce over base layer. Spread out evenly and place in fridge to set and harden for 20-30 min. Remove from fridge and pour choc layer over top. Spread out evenly and place in fridge for an additional 5-10 min to harden. Once chilled remove mold from pan by pulling up on parchment paper. Place on cutting board and cut 1/2 in slices, then cut each strip into thirds.

I like to keep a variety of nuts on hand because they are not only very nutritious (in fact, raw almonds are considered a super food) with lots of good fats in them, they can add just the right texture and flavor to fruits and yogurts, beans and rice dishes, salads and much more.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

  • This fear leads us to treating our bodies poorly. Ignoring our hunger, severely restricting what we consume and over exercising in order to shrink our bodies. 
What if you believed that your body didn’t need to be managed and you put weight loss to the back of your mind? Would you treat it differently? Would you be kinder and look to do movement and exercise that you enjoyed? Eat foods you that made you feel good and you actually wanted to eat?

It’s not our job to conform to our fatphobic society. Our fear of fat is causing us to hate our bodies, feel guilty for eating and punishing them for not conforming. 
I believe that when we take weight out of the equation we’re better able to take care of our body along with our mental and emotional health. 
I recommend you watch ‘Embrace’ by Taryn Brumfitt and read ‘Health at every size’ by Linda Bacon to get more insight into this subject 💕
