  • Have you ever thought “Wow, I love their body. I wish mine was like that.” I just thought that yesterday. And have had those thoughts since puberty. There is nothing wrong with appreciating another person’s body. We should celebrate all shapes and sizes in a healthy way. But what I’m working on is celebrating people, without envy. I can admire someone’s shape and still love mine too. At the same time, I want to bear in mind that people are so much more than their body, shape, and appearance. But I still think it’s ok to say “dang, her body looks amazing in that outfit!” We need to lift each other up.

  • I sent about 50 messages to a tonne of different people to get their opinion on the dress I wore last.

Why? Because it was long, dressy, backless, low cut and nothing like anything I’d ever feel comfortable wearing, normally.

But my gosh it was beautiful! 😍

For as long as I can remember my self confidence has been pretty low, much to the surprise of most people I talk to about it. I’m apparently portrayed a little differently by others and as though I’m someone who oozes confidence, which is so bizarre to me.

That said, it’s something I’ve been working on for a good 12 months, not just in the physical aspect (getting fit, healthy, strong and confident in a gym) but working on making myself mentally stronger and confident too, which has been equally if not more important to me.

I owe a hell of a lot to my friend and PT @olivia__pt and my wonderful friends who have consistently had my back, supported me and made me see the light when people have treated me like shit and I’ve reverted back to questioning my self worth.

I’m sure there are many people who will wonder what on earth I’m making a big deal out of this for. But for me, wearing this dress last night wasn’t just about having the confidence to show a bit of skin and wear something snazzy, it was about me recognising that nobody else can or will validate me. It was a recognition of how far I’ve come and it was about me learning to say “f**k it, I don’t care what others think about me”, and I’ll tell you what, it was so f**king liberating!! ✨Sometimes you have to forget how you feel, and remember what you deserve✨

  • I know...this isnt really a sexy or entertaining post coming at you but this is important stuff!! In my line of work I hear ALLLLL about aches & pains and by far the #1 area of the body that gets neglected or ignored are the lower legs & feet!!! ✨Having tight calves & shins leads to sore/immobile feet (ever had feet cramps?!) which can lead to gait (walking) imbalances which leads to knee pain, back pain, and even neck pain!  See how it is all related?? 😳
✨Start with a couple minutes rolling out your lower legs and feet with some @yogatuneup balls and you will notice how it affects everything else.  Trust me 👌🏻 #rollmodelmethod #selfcarefirst

And that's exactly what #slurrpfarm is doing today.☃️⛄☃️❄❄ Spreading cheers and smiles.☃️⛄☃️❄❄ Till today i have always seen people writing letters to Santa and keeping em near the Christmas tree, waiting for those gifts to arrive.⛄☃️ It's the first time ever children made cards and letters for Santa and handed over them to Santa directly and got their treats immediately🍭🍭🍭 Thank you Vaishali Sudan Sharma Shauravi Malik for creating this moment for the children.🧚‍♀️🧜‍♀️🧞‍♀️ and inviting my kids and I.

  • Five final exams. 5 days. Three exams are over. TWO TO GO until I hop on a plane and land at HOME for the holidays! This time of year (i.e., finals week) is incredibly stressful for any college student, therefore taking small breaks to focus on self-care and relaxation is even more imperative than ever before. Exams in general- studying, feeling unprepared, lacking sleep, being unable to understand material- produce a ton of stress. As a first-semester freshman, I’ve learned that taking breaks is really the only way I can be productive during my working periods. They can be small breaks- but make sure they’re incorporated nonetheless. And make sure you SLEEP and EAT WELL! Take care of yoself, college students 🥰 We’re in the home stretch! ✨
