✒️ Inktober, Day 18 'Misfit'
Heyyy guys!💕💕 Hope you're all enjoying #inktober . 🖤✒ Usually I am quite busy this weekend but I got this idea for today's prompt and drew it quickly. 🖤🖤✒✒🙏 This one is about the 'misfits of society'. You know this one: 'Let him who is without sin cast the first stone.' Obviously we all are imperfect. We are not blameless. It's time to stop blaming others and thus 'casting stones'. It's time to stop bullying the misfits, the underdogs, the overseen, the oppressed, the so called losers!! Let us care more for each other and never forget!! 🖤🖤💕💕💕💕💕
There is a story behind every person.
There is a reason why they are the way they are. Think about that, and respect them for who they are. The way we treat people we strongly disagree with is a report card on what we’ve learned about love, compassion and kindness. Do your best to maintain sincere love in your heart. The more you see the good in other people, the more good you will uncover in yourself. Be present.
Be kind. Compliment people. Magnify their strengths, not their weaknesses. This is how to make a difference.💕💕💕💕
We left the city and hit the thruway to head up to Yasgur’s Farm. It was not closed and we did not have to walk 😂 As a music lover we’d always wanted to be a part of the Woodstock scene, but we were too young. So, when Woodstock 50 became a thing and we knew that we were going to be in NY for the Presswood Wedding; we looked to see who was playing at the Bethel Woods Center for Performing Arts. Graham Nash, one of our favs, was on the schedule for Tuesday night!!! Walking on the site of the original festival was truly a moving experience for us. The show was simply amazing!!! If you are a music lover, you must see a show at this venue! It was like being on an episode of Unplugged, but it was plugged 😂 Graham told stories of how he wrote each song before they performed it. It was a magical evening on an historic site. #yasgursfarm#bethelwoodscenterforthearts#woodstock50#grahamnash#makelovenotwar#peaceloveandmusic#livemusic
Ok so I decided to make this account, a more personal account as my main one is more for the plant community :) I thought why not start this account by sharing the start of what I believe will be a personally journey as well as a good fundraiser for #macmillancancersupport 🎀
On the 3rd of December 2019 I will be shaving all my hair off in support of Macmillan cancer support but not only cancer for anyone that has hair loss and even for the people that choose to have no hair!
As a society we need to be more understanding and accepting of people and our differences 💓
So the people that dont have a choice dont have to worry about being judged in a negative light on top of what they are doing through, for the woman and men that choose to have no hair dont get painted with the weird stigmas out there!
I'm so nervous but very excited, I feel like on the days I feel insecure (I have them days, alot) it's going to make it that little bit harder but I think for the cause and the lessons I will learn, it's worth it, I hope as a woman I will feel liberated and powerful!
Because my hair does not define me, just like my sexuality doesnt!
