I could not begin to describe the smells of walking on a trail next to the ocean and loads of wildflowers. The air smells of sunshine, wet sand and salt. The wind whips your face and you’re engulfed in the potpourri. It’s hard to imagine the chaotic, traffic-choked parts of California is just (always) around the corner from its wild side.
Today we took a sunset walk in the marsh along a narrow, dachshund-wide path. The grasses were high and I couldn’t see much, but it sure smelled good and someone made sure the flowers matched my harness 🌸🐾🌾 #sunset#happy
