➡ About Pahuyuth: Pahuyuth is ancient fighting knowledge and the origin of all Thai and many Southeast Asian martial arts. The roots of this mysterious martial art reach back over 4500 years into the past, making it one of the most ancient fighting systems of the world.

➡ Pahuyuth was originally developed to enable a life in peace and freedom, but was then deployed in countless wars and conflicts in Southeast Asia. Pahuyuth was the feared fighting method of paramilitary free warriors who had refined this knowledge from generation to generation and combined it with other areas of knowledge, such as Saiyasart (the knowledge of the void) and the traditional knowledge of healing. Nowadays the knowledge of the ancient warriors is almost entirely forgotten and is now handed down to those who require it to live a life in peace and freedom by a mere handful of persons.

➡ In order to preserve this unique body of knowledge and the cultural inheritance of the ancient warriors for future generations the Pahuyuth School was founded in 1975 in Berlin, Germany. The Pahuyuth School is the only place in the world where the knowledge of Pahuyuth is taught and practiced in its full extent.

Goal of this workout: Dynamic Effort. Essentially moving lighter loads quick and explosive with full recovery during your rest period. Decided to throw in some heavy pull-ups as well. Basic strength training definitely has its place in training programs but excessive time spent lifting weights doesn’t always transfer well into human performance/ athletics
.
1. Sprint start medicine ball chest pass: 3x3 with 8lb med ball
2. KB swing: 3x5-8 with 25lb KB
3. Weighted jump & stick: 3x3 with 45lb hex bar
4. Barbell floor press: 115x5, 135x3, 95x5
5. Weighted pull up: 25x1, 35x1, 45x1, 70x1

  • A common misconception we get is that you have to be 'hard-core' and want to fight to train at our gym, but this couldn't be further from the truth.

I'd say about 5% of people of our customers ever fight. Fighting isn't for most people, because you have to be 100% commited, and most people have too much else going on in their lives. The rest of our customers get incredible benefits without fighting. Take this guy for instance. He'll probably never fight. He runs his own business and has 4 children, and knows that commiting to a fight will probably make his quality of life worse, whereas just training makes his life better. He's lost a load of weight, his fitness has improved immensely, he's developing some serious power, learning new skills all the time and when he can make it comes to evening classes and gets satisfaction from sparring and drilling with the rest of the gym (including some of the fighters).
