  • This is my go to dish when looking for a #nutritious and #inexpensive #meal that is satisfying and can be #vegan. It is the #classicdish called #Fasoulia. It is a #Lebanese #beanstew and can be made with or without #meat.  Either way it is delicious. .

Ingredients (serves 4-6)
🍅 1 lb organic grass-fed stewing beef or beef bones (optional)
🍅 2 cups dry white kidney beans, soaked for 10 hours in lots of water then drained
🍅 1 small can organic tomato paste
🍅 1 white sweet onion slivered
🍅 6 cloves garlic, sliced
🍅 1/2 large green pepper, seeded
🍅 1 large celery stock, cut in half
🍅 1 bunch spinach or swiss chard, chopped
🍅 1 tbsp dried mint
🍅 6 tbsps extra-virgin olive oil
🍅 1 tsp Middle East seven spices (optional)
🍅  1 tbsps sea salt plus more for taste
🍅 1 tbsp black pepper
🍅 2 tbsps hot pepper sauce (this tastes best) or 1 red chili pepper seeded and chopped (optional)

In a large pot, saute onions, chili pepper and garlic in oil until translucent.  Add in beef, salt, pepper, seven spices and cook while stirring often for 10 minutes. Add in mint, spinach or swiss chard, green pepper and celery. Saute for a few minutes. Then add in beans and enough water to cover the beans plus 4 cups more. Bring to boil on high heat and then allow to cook on medium heat with lid half covered for 2 hours, checking that the water doesn't evaporate so much to leave the mixture too dry. Add more water if need be to just cover the beans. Consistency should be like a stew not soup. Taste beans (should be soft) and meat (easy to flake). Cook further if need be. Adjust salt and pepper and water. When everything is cooked, add in tomato paste. Stir and cook five minutes longer until paste is incorporated into the stew. Serve on a bed of basmati rice and lemon, garlic salad and more hot sauce if desired. Enjoy!

•Çilek •şeker

Tarif
Öncelikle bisküvileri rondodan geçirilin üzerine tereyağ ekleyin yağlı kağıt serilmis ve kenarları sana yagı ile yaglanmıs kelepçeli kalıba bastırarak yayın. Daha sonra buzdolabına koyup dinlendirin. Kreması icin;krema ve peyniri 1 dakika mikser ile cırpın. Sonra üzerine seker ekleyip tek tek yumurtaları kırıp hafifce sadece karısacak sekilde karıstırın. Ardından un, vanilya ekleyip kaşıkla hafifce karıstırın, buzdolabından cıkardıgınız bisküvili tabanın üzerine kremayı ilave edin , önceden ısıtılmıs 180 derecelik fırına ekstra su dolu  bir borcam ile koyun(suyu catlamaması icin koyuyoruz) üstü hafif pembelesinceye kadar pisirin yalnız tam pismeden böyle ortası hafif sallanıyorken fırını kapatın cheesecake fırında , fırın kapagı hafif acık bir sekilde soguyana kadar kalsın. Sos icinde cileklerinizi rondodan gecirin istege göre icine sekerini ve 1 kasık nişastasını ilave edip kaynayana kadar pisirin sonra sos soguduktan sonra fırında sogumus olan cheesecake ın üstüne döküp dinlenmesi icin buzdolabına koyun ben her zaman 1 gece dinlendiririm.
