  • The rapid movements of the mind are so subtle that it can feel like we are the makers of our present destiny, when in reality the past is pushing itself into our present, inclining us toward feeling the same emotions and thinking the same thoughts. The way our mental past forces itself into our present gives us little room to decide for ourselves how we actually want to feel and gives little concern to whether or not our reaction comes from an objective observation of how things truly are.

When traveling inward there are times when we hit a particularly rocky layer of the mind, a sediment of conditioning that has been so thickly reinforced that it takes patience and persistence for it to soften and release. When we work on letting go of the hardened inner layers there is often an impact on our personal lives— we feel the storms of yesterday or the heaviness of times that have long since passed, there is the feeling of being on the edge of turbulence and disharmony as we open ourselves up to the process of deconditioning. It is the habit of holding on that causes this tension, because of the countless repetition of the same behavior there is a struggle to let go.

The same way patterns can accumulate inside of us, they can also be released. Letting go is possible, but it requires courage, effort, an effective healing technique and consistent practice to see deep results. Consistency and a good healing tool that can unearth the patterns in the subconscious are critical because the mind is immensely vast and it takes time to learn how to live in a way that no longer recreates the past.

Are there tools out there that are really helping you? Please share in the comments if so. It is always great to see what people are using to heal themselves.

Different techniques have different goals and approach the mind at different depths. When looking for a tool that meets you where you are at it is important to find something that challenges you without overwhelming you— in that space we can grow at a sustainable rate.

Sending love to all beings. May we all be happy and free.

  • One of the #hardest things for me to do it take a few minutes to #reset the #mind. I #workhard and very long hours and it easy to get my mind stuck in work mode all the time. I’m #blessed to have this as my office but hardly get to #hit #balls. Take 5 minutes reset the mind and work more #efficiently

Something that we at ROTM are very proud of, our members are some the most hardworking and inspiring individuals who push themselves and each other to better themselves each day.

  • Instead of allowing the fear to control your decisions, remind yourself that it is necessary for the up-leveling of your mind and body. .
.
When I first started my business in peak performance coaching, I was afraid of failing. I was giving up a good amount of money for something that wasn’t secure. I feared having to come back to the job I just left. I feared what my close friends and family would think, making a decision that seemed to have a low success rate. I was concerned with how others would treat me, being 24 in an industry where people won’t listen to you unless you have done something of significance. I feared watching my bank account go down to zero. My credit cards being maxed out. I feared not being able to provide the lifestyle for Amanda that I felt she deserved. These were real fears that I felt and thought about every day. .
.
But I knew that deep down this is what I was supposed to do. I knew that if I didn’t do it, I would regret it. I had to trust that gut feeling of “just go for it” and find a way to make it happen. .
.
I Chose to see fear as a sharpener of my focus. I Viewed it as an indicator that I was about to do something that would teach me more about me & help me breakthrough to another level of thinking. And this mindset has allowed me to reach the level that I am at now which is a great foundation to continue to build on. .
.
Learn to dance with the fear. Flirt with it. Communicate with it. Just don’t let it stop you from doing the thing you know you need to do. Don’t let it stop you from starting that business, leaving/starting that relationship, being honest about the thing you’ve been keeping inside. Lean into it and you will find yourself equipped with a new set of skills that can help you and those around you. .

  • “Talking about trauma activates the reptilian brain -(Basic survival mechanisms, Primal). The body enters the sympathetic nervous system (stress response) and the person is in fight or flight. It does not heal.....Healing involves teaching ourselves how to be safe in our bodies. Connecting the #MIND and the #BODY and creating the #MINDBODY. One way to do this is through breath work (deep controlled breathing exercises).” •
This activates the parasympathetic nervous system. The parasympathetic nervous system is responsible for for allowing our bodies to relax. It is a crucial tool for healing. •
This are not possible explanations for what occurs. This IS what occurs. This is SCIENCE. •

  • I've spent over a decade hating my body. Hating my face, nose, mouth, arms, stomach, boobs, butt, legs, mind, heart, everything. Today I apologize to myself. For spending so much time hating myself. For being so horrible and ugly to me. I see the beautiful in me no matter what anyone else sees or thinks. I'm falling in love with myself more and more every day. #selflove #happinessishere #bodypositivity
