  • It’s been a long time since I bought new jeans.  I’m ashamed to show my past size, this was my biggest jeans and at one point in time they were super tight. 👖 BUT today I tried on new clothes, and these are 4 sizes smaller!  I’ll take it!!   • In the past week I have received several messages from friends saying my posts inspire them, motivate them, and help push them.  I can’t thank these women enough for reaching out.  We all get tired, over booked and overwhelmed, and when I do, I still make time to exercise and eat healthy.  Taking just a little bit of time every day to focus on yourself isn’t selfish.  I’m happier, healthier, and can show up better for my family because I choose to make myself a priority.  It’s not about a number on a scale, or clothing size, it’s a feeling and always pushing to be better than you were the day before. #makingmyselfapriority #strongwomen #motivated #keepgoing💪 #mleitzwontgiveup

  • Happy Thursday..... I think I need to throw my scale away, today I’m up 2 pounds since Monday. 🤪😡 I’ve been eating clean and exercising so it’s frustrating to see the scale go the wrong way.   • 4/80 pushed pause on myself the last few days. (had a lot of stuff going on plus a lot of driving to see my mom in the hospital) Today was hard to get started again but I got it done.  Feeling the burn and sweat drip off me.  Never let a pause turn to a stop, and just because you pause for a few days doesn’t mean you can’t get going again.  Next pic is face to face 1 year difference.  I see a happier me, and that is the only thing that truly matters.   • Monday madness.... day 1 of 80 day obsession.  Definitely not my best workout, had no clue what I was doing or what was next.  But I did it!  Tomorrow I’m going to try the workout in the living room vs the garage. Loving myself and showing positivity to others around me is my focus, if someone doesn’t like me that’s ok.   • One of the goals I set for myself was to exercise 1 hour a day 6 days a week.  I really love doing cardio but I’m making sure to add weights, interval training, and Beachbody on demand.   • Saturday night vibes..... working out harder and longer.  It seems crazy but I truly enjoy exercising now.  I love watching what I can accomplish and how hard I can push myself.  I’m sore for all the squats and lunges yesterday and it feels great!   • Happy Monday.  I’ve been a control freak as long as I can remember, but I’m learning very slowly that you can’t control everything.  The one thing I can control is how I react and feel.  Letting go of anger or things having to be perfect has brought me joy and happiness.  Don’t dwell on the negative or bash what you don’t like or agree with.   • Wednesday workout done ✅ yesterday I received some dresses I ordered and I had to wear 1 today.  Fit great and felt great in it.  After work I started the instapot and rice cooker and got a walk and weights session in.  After dinner I hit the max trainer and pushed myself for 35 mins.  My heart rate was up and the sweat a flowing.  Now I’m ready to relax.   • Happy Sunday.  Yesterday I got the boost of motivation I’ve been needing.  I cleaned out my closet and purged the clothes that are now too big.  I opened up my box of smaller clothes and was shocked at the amount that now fits! Got home from work late, picked up the family, took Kaylee to youth group, took the boys by Pizza Hut to pick up London’s reading award.  Home with enough time to empty my lunch bag, change into exercise clothes and do Day 2 of my weight program.  Then left to pick Kaylee up from youth group, chatted with her for a few.   • Terrific Tuesday!  Today I started day 1 of a 6 week challenge.  We have had these weights for the last few years and I haven’t tried the programs available on them.  Today was chest and arms.  I could definitely feel the burn.  I love that the weights track my reps and weight used.  Next I jogged on the treadmill then my favorite “Max Trainer”.
