10 things i hate about you(1999)🌙
The scene in which Kat reads the "10 Things" poem was the first and only take, according to the DVD extras. Kat's tears towards the end of the poem were real and not planned.

That 70s show was initially titled "Teenage Wasteland" and later "The Kids Are Alright". However, because both names were references to songs by The Who, legal issues prevented their use. As a result, the show was eventually announced as "Feelin' Alright", but because that name had few supporters, a search for a new title began. After noticing that audience members in focus groups would say, "I like that show about the '70s," or, "I like that '70s show," it was eventually decided to simply call the series "That '70s Show".

“I went to college at UF and I was a waitress at a local restaurant. I was having a horrible day. My car tore up and I was late to work. My boss was so angry and I was nearly fired. A large group came in and I was one of the waitress’ assigned to the table. As I was pulling a pen from my apron a cigarette fell out onto the table. I was horrified. That is cause for immediate firing. I began to cry. This nice looking guy said, ‘Oh bless your soul, dont cry. If I can have one of your cigarettes we will pretend it never happend.’ I happily gave him one. When I went back to the kitchen all the girls were freaking out because that guy was River. I had no idea. I had only watched Stand By Me and he looked nothing like that now. He and the rest of his group were very kind to me. I got enough in tips to fix my car. He was an angel for me that day. You could feel his kindness. I believe he has transcended into a being of light" — Anonymous
True story: The famous pink prom dress from the movie “Pretty In Pink”
When asked about the pink prom dress created for Molly and if she liked the design... My answer to the question was:
She hated that dress! Molly actually hated it with such a passion you have no idea. A lot of her clothing as Andie Walsh I found in thrift stores, so I cut up two dresses to make the prom dress – just like she does in the film. Poor John Hughes, Molly’s in her trailer with her tutor, she hates the dress and he’s whining to me ‘You can’t make her do that, she hates it.’ I said ‘Andie is not going to wear like, a Madonna dress. And she’s not going to dress like the other kids, she’s an individual. She’s pulling clothes apart and making her own style.’ And John decided, OK that’s it, Molly is going to wear it! So she did and it made cinema history for the 80’s era!

The real Jessica Rabbit: While actress Veronica Lake is typically assumed to be the muse behind Jessica Rabbit, it was the lesser-known and near-forgotten Vicki Dougan along with her notorious derrrière that really put Jessica on the map. Pin-up girl turned (struggling) actress, Vicki earned herself the nickname, “The Back” in 1950s Hollywood for so often wearing her outrageously provocative backless dresses.
