The Mandalorian S1 E1 (2019) Rating: 9.2/10 This show never really had my interest when they were promoting it but now having watched the first episode, I’m very interested. This seems to be a new side of Star Wars we’ve yet to explore and it does a great job letting you know that. There is awesome world building in this episode and it really engaged me well. It added new lore to things I previously knew about Star Wars but feels completely different than any other thing in the series. Even in just the first episode, I learned so much about the characters and what they’re dealing with. Pedro Pascal is great as The Mandalorian and luckily has way more lines than I expected. The supporting cast so far is fantastic as well, Carl Weathers and Werner Herzog in particular. This was also directed really well with some truly awesome shots. To keep it simple, this pilot really peaked my interest and I wish I could sit down now to watch the next episode after that cliffhanger ending!

Kingdom of Heaven by @amien15
The Mayan kingdom is at the height of its opulence and power but the foundations of the empire are beginning to crumble. The leaders believe they must build more temples and sacrifice more people or their crops and citizens will die. Jaguar Paw (Rudy Youngblood), a peaceful hunter in a remote tribe, is captured along with his entire village in a raid. He is scheduled for a ritual sacrifice until he makes a daring escape and tries to make it back to his pregnant wife and son.
Moviebarcodes are created by shrinking each frame of a film to one pixel, then lining them up sequentially to create a barcode-like image. Here’s one from the short film All Your Favorite Shows, which our director/writer/producer @mariwalker edited!

🔴Friends, firstly sorry for my absence again 😳 -I hope one day I'll make posts which won't start with "sorry" 🙈😳- and if you're interested in my posts even a little, thanks for the time you gave me to complete them 🙃
●like I said on my story part before, I've been making some sort of stocks for my both accounts for a while 🙃 -like I mentioned before @lantern.magicx is my second account.-
●There was a number in my head for my posts. I mean, first I wanted to complete video collages of 100 films as a start for my other account.-
●lanterne's very big(!) sneaky plan was like this: she decided to eat from her stocks while she's making new ones, because she didn't want her work/future roads' stopping her posts again 😳😀
●I'll share my all (2018-2019) film diary posts which I haven't yet -they are ready- until the end of this year. I hope you can find some titles which you will like/enjoy among them 🙃

Watched Midsommer the other night and now I keep drawing flowers.
With The Mandalorian now streaming on a device near you, we thought we’d take a look back a long time ago in newspapers far, far away. ¶ In the May 30, 1977, Village Voice, we find the first Star Wars ad to appear in the paper. ¶ A week later, 20th Century Fox no longer needed the fancy halftones—they wanted to make sure prospective audiences knew that Time magazine considered the space opera “The Year’s Best Movie.” ¶ The next week, Voice film critic Molly Haskell would disagree, noting, “I don't see how I can come out ahead panning Star Wars,” and then going ahead and doing it anyway. (We’ll be posting the full review on our website later today.) ¶ A few years later, in the May 26, 1980, issue, we get an ad for the sequel. More on the Voice review of “The Empire Strikes Back” at a later date. #themandalorian#starwarshistory#graphicdesign#1977#newspaperads#vintagemovieads#movieart#vintagegraphics#vintagegraphicdesign
