  • “We’ve been friends since school, but we became best friends in college! In school we didn’t speak much — but in college we didn’t have anybody else and knew only each other — so we started talking! And let me tell you one thing... this girl right here, she’s a keeper! At the start of college, I got dengue. I didn’t have the energy to attend even one lecture — and the problem was that if I didn’t attend they’d probably kick me out of college and I’d have to repeat the year. But that’s when she came up with this brilliant idea of doing my proxy. So she entered class wearing this large hoody and cap — sat at the back and put her hand up when they announced my roll number! Once that was done, she quickly snuck into the bathroom and change into different clothes— and come back to class right in time for her roll number! She did that for a good two weeks and it actually worked! She’s the best, but I’m pretty great too! She can’t concentrate at all so I take down notes and actually patiently teach her as much as I can! I’m telling you, this friendship has a lot of perks — but mostly we’re concerned with having fun!”

  • Should you focus on the weighing scale? 
NO - it is ONE of the parameters but not the only one. 
At 27, before my wedding ,I did many diets & my weight was the same as it is now at 37.
At my wedding i was at ideal BMI (a near useless measure) & I would have said I just want to lose a little on my face. Unfortunately it doesnt work like that. I needed to lose all the extra fat, from everywhere. 
These pictures are 10 years apart !!! The difference 
1. Food : more whole grains and whole foods. Fresh vegetables,fruits & lean proteins
2. Exercise & being active daily 
This has helped me lose fat & gain lean muscle mass to give me a "toned" look. Muscle takes up less space than fat. Think of the 1kg weight they put on older weighing scales. It would fit in your hand. 
Now think of 1kg of cotton ... this will take up a lot of space. 
Muscle is like the metal & fat like the cotton. The more fat you have the fluffier & puffier you look. Muscle is more dense than fat and takes up a lot less space than fat.

I have lost fat & gained muscle. While my weight is nearly the same my measurements & pictures tell a very different story. I follow this on my programs too. 
Ideally don't take your weight every day. It will fluctuate. I'm 2kgs heavier at night & about 2kgs heavier before my cycle. Look at measurements & weight over a longer period of time. Stop trying to lose weight fast or for any occasion. If you start with that, you're setting yourself up for failure. 
Everytime someone asks me about skin, hair, toning, flat stomach, face fat ... the answer will be the same ... focus on your health & everything else will fall into place . 
I will turn 37 day after & my goal is to be the fittest I've ever been by 40. 
This does not come with dieting or fad diets or quick solutions.There are no short cuts. It will require me to stick to the changes I’ve made to my life and follow them consistently. I want to be healthy & fit forever & not just for the season.

कारलं कडू असल्याने त्यांची भाजी खाण्यास अनेकांना रस नसतो. पण कारले खाण्याचे फायदे जर तुम्हाला एकदा कळाले तर तुम्ही कारल्याच्या भाजीला कधीही नाही म्हणणार नाही.
कारल्याची भाजी खायची म्हटलं की अनेकांकडून नाके मुरडली जातात. अनेकांना ही भाजी अजिबातच नको असते.कारलं हे आपल्या शरीरातील रक्त साफ करतं. सोबतच मधुमेहाच्या रुग्णांसाठीही कारलं फायदेशीर असतं. तसेच दमा, पोटदुखी या आजारांवरही हा रामबाण उपाय आहे. १.रक्तातील शुगर लेव्हल नियंत्रित ठेवणं
कारल्याचा वापर एका नैसर्गिक स्टेरॉयडच्या रुपात केला जातो. कारण यात केरेटिन नावाचं रसायन अधिक प्रमाणात आढळतं. या सेवन केल्यास रक्तातील शुगर लेव्हल नियंत्रित राहते. २.पोषक तत्वांचा भांडार कारलं

  • Today, In a true sense I saw the pledged becoming reality. Clearly, I adore my train journey from Dombivli to Bhandup with this stranger called Avaya little Princess and his brother. Who understood true humanity far better than we elders. The day ended with peace and calmness. LET'S BE INDIAN FIRST🙂
