Der Sommer ist nun tatsächlich vorbei. Unser Papa musste leider das gesamte Wochenende arbeiten. Wir haben das wunderbare Wetter genutzt und waren das gesamte Wochenende im Freien.
Ich liebe dieses schöne Wetter einfach. Es muss gar nicht warm sein. Der Sonnenschein reicht. So geht man einfach gerne raus. Und für die Kleinen ist es umso schöner.

Heute war die Hebamme wieder bei uns & Ella hat fleißig zugenommen :) Innerhalb von 4 Tagen von 3.110 g auf 3.400 g 👍🏼🍼 Heute hat sie mir außerdem gezeigt wie ich die kleine Maus pucke, da sie in der Nacht viel rum strampelt und einen unruhigen Schlaf hat 😴 Was habt ihr für Erfahrungen mit dem pucken gemacht? Schlafen die Babys dann wirklich ruhiger? 🤔 Heute tagsüber fand ich schon, dass sie dadurch ruhig geschlafen hat, aber sie ist auch eher nachtaktiv 😄🌛 Deswegen bin ich mal gespannt wie es diese Nacht wird 💟

I often hear people say that they don't have the 'luxury' to be a gentle parent. .
Yes Gentle parenting does take a lot more effort , patience and time than punitive parenting but it is not a luxury.
GENTLE PARENTING IS NOT A LUXURY, IT'S A BASIC HUMAN RIGHT.
Having a responsive parent day and night is a child's right.
Having a non violent and non punitive environment to thrive in is a child's right.
Being showered in love , empathy and compassion is a child's right. .
Being respected and shown the same consideration as one shows an adult is a child's right. .
. #sleeptraining , #spanking#punitive methods of discipline violate these basic human rights.
Gentle and responsive parenting is not the 'norm' yet. .
Here's to planting the seeds.

Ice cream and and fire trucks... what more could a little boy want?
Yup that’s a mess of clothes in the background I had to Chuck from the windowsill as *someone* can reach from her cot and grab things (we found a night light in her crib this week, no electrocutions - yay me!!), and the carpet needs hoovering (I SWEAR it was hoovered Saturday..). I absolute love this picture, her adorable little face!! I took this at 7:30am this morning just after I’d woke her up and got her dressed for nursery, she’s the happiest little soul in the morning, it melts me 💗 also I’m not slightly jealous my 9 month old own a Juicy Couture tracksuit *secretly wanted a velour one since I was 15* 👀 and she definitely didn’t (she did) sh*t all over herself as I was pulling her out of the car to walk her into nursery 👍🏽 well that’s Monday almost over and done with & I’m currently killing that last 10 minutes (actually been like it for the last hour) scrolling through my phone at work (oops!) 🤫 •

Vlt könnt ihr mir ja helfen, habt vlt auch Erfahrungen damit..
Mein kleiner Schatz, 4 Monate, macht seit einiger Zeit Schwierigkeiten beim Stillen. Ich hab das Gefühl, dass er sich selten wirklich satt trinkt. Er bricht oft vorher ab, verbiegt sich, fängt an zu meckern, weil er scheinbar Luft geschluckt hat. Dann muss ich ihn hochnehmen, bis ein Bäuerchen kommt oder 2 oder 3. Selten lässt er sich dann wieder anlegen.
Ich bin nun seit Tagen am Überlegen, ob ich langsam vlt doch auf Flaschennahrung umsteigen soll, dann habe ich das zumindest im Blick, was er trinkt (abbumpen ist leider keine Lösung). Kennt ihr das von euren Schätzen auch? Vergeht das wieder? Was habt ihr gemacht?

Jack and the Black Bean Stalk. I decided to tell the tale of Jack and his giant. After we were done stomping around and yelling "Fe! Fi! Fo! Fum!", I took out @chickadeeswoodentoys number coins and went into the kitchen to look for dried beans. I didn't have any green beans, but I did break into a bag of black beans. This is one of the first number activities I have tried with V. It was more a presentation than an activity, since she wasn't really sure what I was getting at.⠀
No matter! Exposure to letters and numbers reap dividends. Vicky can identify over half a dozen letters now, so I'm sure numbers will be right behind!⠀

Poor Kenzo lost his appetite and hasn't really enjoy playing with his food as much. He was happy for me to spoon feed him however - poor baby 👶

HOW I PACK FOR A DAY OUT AND NIGHT FEED #beingmum
I hope this post helps out many mum's to be, as I certainly googled this so many times and couldn't find anything simple that would work.
Firstly we know when we go out, us Mum's take the world, but how do you prepare a bottle when your out and about? I asked so many of my mummy friends this question and with their responses it helped me put together the perfect little kit I needed.
* Flask No 1 essential for any new mum, fill this up with hot boiling water.
* In any spare baby bottles you have fill this up hot boiling water. This is your cooled down boiling water. [Use the old teats and caps, as you know you don't use these.] I am trying to find a leak proof bottle upto a litre, so we can take this on our flight.
* Put powder in the tubs that you usually take out with you
* Put all together in a clear plastic bag. These were £5 for a set of 3 from Superdrug, these were originally used for items in my hospital bag. Great that I can re use these
* Take the required bottles you need for your day out.

Pour 2 oz of hot boiling water into the bottle, then put 4oz of cool water into the bottle and then the powder. Give it a shake and bottle ready!

Anyone else struggling with lunchtime weaning ideas? Breakfast and tea are pretty straightforward but lunch seems to be that bit trickier, especially when your on the go. 🤔 Today we were at home for lunch so I raided the freezer and found a pack of frozen ready cooked mixed pulses from @tescofood that you boil in 8 minutes, whizzed them up with the hand blender and mixed in some hummus and a drop of water to thin the consistency.She liked it: result! Doesn’t look too appetising I agree but it’s quick, easy and healthy 👍🏻 I was speaking to a child nutritionist today who happens to run our sensory baby yoga class and picked up some great tips about weaning.Some I had read conflicting advice about so its great to speak to someone who knows what there talking about; 1) Try the allergy foods as soon as possible after the 6 month mark because research now shows that doing so reduces the chances of baby being allergic 2) Introduce the allergy foods one at a time, so peanut butter one day then eggs the next day 3) it’s fine to have wheat at 6 months, yay as she loves weetabix) 4) With 1, 2 and 3 you might need to be more careful if you have a family history of allergies, asthma or eczema so check with your GP perhaps?🤷♀️ 5)Their diet should replicate the eat well plate by 2 years of age 6) Don’t need to be obsessive about each meal containing all the major food groups, as long as the balance is about right over the week and each meal contains a carbohydrates and a fruit or vegetable 🌽 🍅 🍇 🍈Bearing this in mind, a bit of cucumber or tomato wouldn’t have gone amiss with this meal, so I’ll be following that advice with each meal from now on.As babies naturally like sweet things it’s good to make sure they are also getting a taste for the more bitter vegetables 🥦I need to start being braver and increasing the amount of baby led weaning we have been doing, although she has been sucking on breadsticks and toast 🥖 If anyone has any suitable lunchtime weaning ideas for a 6.5 month old, send them over this way please 📞☎️📮📮📩👉👉😃 👶 🥘 🍴 #weaning#6monthsold#lunchtimeweaningideas#healthyfoodblogger#mumblogger#lancashiremums#shepondersshewandersshecooks

Mon petit cœur ❤️. Le dernier trimestre de grossesse commence à se faire sentir , mauvaise nuits, fatigué... mais continuer à être présente , jouer, profiter de chaque instant car dans 2 mois petite soeur sera la. Je ne suis toujours pas prête à me dire que ce petit boy ne sera plus mon tout petit lol.
