Hope everyone has a great and productive MONDAY and week 🔛😇
Woke up with clear thoughts of what I want to achieve in life (yeyyyy) in the next couple of months and for me setting short-term goals are something I need to have because they allow me to stay on track toward achieving the ultimate long-term goals.. having something everyday to look forward to is what keeps me going & motivated 
Also, this way I can enjoy the process without the constant feeling of being lost and clueless 🙇🏼‍♀️ My advice for you this week is just do more of what makes you happy and fulfilled 
because YOU are soooo worthy of it !!!! Making the choice to be happy, regardless of your circumstances will create a stronger sense of worth within yourself as well, remember this always: YOU are worthy of being happy in your life, YOU are in complete control of your happiness and the actions that you choose to take !!!🆘♥️ #mondaymotivation #monday #happymonday #motivation #choosehappiness #strong #powerfulwomen #fitnessmotivation

  • Happy Monday Everyone ! 🙌🏽 its a new week to be amazing and a new opportunity to get that much closer to our goals 💪🏽 start with week with determination! I’m ready to be productive and have a great week 🙏🏽 This is one of my favorite exercises to tone your inner thighs and round out your glutes! 🍑 the best part about this exercise is that there is no equipment needed meaning you can do it anywhere anytime! ⏰ but trust me, you will still feel the burn! 🔥 stay low to the ground for extra Glute activation 🏋🏽‍♀️ #XoFitJess

  • New week, fresh start to smash your goals🙌🏻😈

A few clips from my push session from the other day, my favourite🙌🏻😍 tried a few new exercises and different variations of my staple exercises🔥
-
🔥1: seated lateral raises (love this variation, the position restricts the use of momentum, really allowing you to isolate your medial delts🤩)
😈2: smith machine shoulder press (honestly prefer db’s as I can achieve an increased rom, however I can go heavier and improve my strength further on the smith machine so always implement this variation👊🏻)
🔥3: single arm arnold press (THIS felt very good, allowing me to focus on each side separately and get that mind to muscle connection spot on🧠 will be implementing this variation more often👆🏻)
😈4: neutral shoulder press (been loving this variation recently🙌🏻)
🔥5: db incline press (favourite movement ever for upper chest🤩👆🏻🔥) 😈6: db incline flyes (prefer cable flyes as the tension is constant, however I find I benefit from implementing both variations in my training👊🏻)
🔥7: prone/rear delt flyes (staple exercise for rear delts, can get a good rom and squeeze on the db variation🤪)

Listen, the only way to improve is to get uncomfortable. .

▫️ Stop worrying about what you look like in the gym, & start focusing on whether you’re executing each exercise with proper form. Aka neglecting the “ugly butt squeeze” because that my friends, is part of correct form. .
.
▫️Stop being afraid of increasing the weight you’re lifting because you think it’s going to make you look “bulky”. It’s not. .
.
▫️Stop being afraid of eating in a surplus when your goal is to gain muscle mass. That, is in fact, the ONLY way you will reach that goal. .
.
▫️Stop thinking you’re going to see change by staying in your own little comfort bubble!!!

Results won’t come overnight and most days will be harder than others, but stay consistent, challenge yourselves daily, & get UNCOMFORTABLE. .

The lack of Hamstring isolation equipment here means that hip-dominant movements like the RDL are mandatory.

The only issue is that I have to more of less go into muscular endurance threshold sets in order to reach failure.

This was my last working set, and my hamstrings really weren’t playing along.

Time to rest up and go again for Push tomorrow, and hopefully find a way down to Kicks for a Push session!
