🌟Movement shout out: Lateral lunge 🌟
Two reasons to start doing this:
1. To develop jaw dropping glutes.
2. To build strength and resilience, minimizing the risk of injury in your day to day activities. There is a reason that athletes spend a lot of their training shifting into different directions, because a lot of injuries come during lateral shifts, twists, or collisions (this doesn’t mean you have to be an athlete, however, to benefit from lateral training). My military presses are getting better! 😁 Never been a movement I'm that good at but I'm working on it. 💪 Managed some PR's somehow even after a heavy bench press session.... My top sets were 1x12 165, 1x22 135, and 1x30 100. All PR sets! 🤘Just got to keep on improving. 🙏
Well everyone I hit another milestone in my fitness/strength journey!! 💪 Finally hit a huge PR with a 365 pound paused bench press. It has taken me a solid 11 years to go from a 95 pound bench press to 365 pound bench press. I'm super stoked and this was truly an incredible accomplishment for me. 405 is getting that much closer and hopefully I will crack that number in the next year or two. 😁 This bench press session was 2x10 135, 1x10 185, 1x5 225, 1x2 275, 1x2 315, 345 single, 365 single PR, 1x5 315 PR, 1x10 275 PR, 1x23 225 PR. 🤘 Every set was paused except for 1x5 225 and 1x23 225! ✊ BW is 215 currently. Having fun and enjoying this journey completely! ☺ Glad I got to hit this milestone with my bro @boosted_fk .🙏
