It’s 3 years since my pawrents came to get me from the rescue centre. I was found by the police as a stray and sent to a kennel in Kent, after a month they couldn’t rehome me so they were going to put me to sleep, thankfully someone brought me up to Scotland to a rescue centre here. @helenmarnie shared my photo and that’s how my pawrents found me. It’s a good thing they adopted me when they did because the lady at the rescue centre up here in Scotland was jailed for neglect and abuse of the dogs in her care 😢 I definitely landed on my paws. Please everyone remember to adopt and not to shop. There are lots of myths that rescue dogs have more issues than pure bred dogs, it’s not at all true and when you adopt you are literally saving a life ☀️ #adoptdontshop#sunshinepup
Did you know Indiana Dunes National Park (the newest national park in the United States) ranks 7th out of all national parks in biodiversity? While relatively small in size compared to many other national parks, the Indiana Dunes encompasses a wide range of ecosystems from sand dunes to wetlands to forests. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And the best part? We only live an hour away. Dogs are allowed on all but three of the trails at the park, so it makes for a great hike for those in the area.
