“All big things come from small beginnings. The seed of every habit is a single, tiny decision. But as that decision is repeated, a habit sprouts and grows stronger. Roots entrench themselves and branches grow. The task of breaking a bad habit is like uprooting a powerful oak within us. And the task of building a good habit is like cultivating a delicate flower one day at a time.” James Clear - Atomic Habits⠀
Is there a bad habit that you want to break? Or a good habit that you want to build? I recommend that you read the book 'Atomic Habits' from James Clear. This book has practical strategies on how to form good habits, break bad ones, and master the tiny behaviors that lead to great results. #notsponsored ⠀
Enjoy your weekend! ⠀

“Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.” - Robert Braust
This quote has always reminded me of my wonderful wife @ljohnson_lynn because she embodies this with every ounce of her being. In a world that seems to move too quickly, she is always the one to slow us down, make us smile, and add fun into the simple things - letting everyone but herself have all the glory. And you know what? None of us appreciate it nearly as much as we should and certainly don’t tell her how much it means to us enough.
This Easter was no exception. Lynn has been preparing for months and every moment of the day showed it. Thank you for being my biggest blessing today and every day. •
Going back to the shore and my parents house always brings me peace, happiness, and lots of laughter. There is something special about this place that I always treasure and long to get back to. I’m so grateful that my boys get to grow up with a love for the salt life like I did. Can’t wait for the summer!

Just what the body needed. I absolutely love camping ❤️ to get out there, away from everything , forced to do nothing cuz you’re off the grid feels so good to my soul. I love having to be resourceful (no ameneties or hookups where we go) and that first night when it’s so quiet and all you can hear is the campfire burning and your breath (and the donkey. Yup!)....heaven! Isabella even made a comment “wow. This is so nice and peaceful”. Yes girl! YEEEEEESS!! Haha.
We’ve been coming to this spot for almost 7 years now. It’s a commitment - about 3hrs in the highways and 1hr off-road. But it’s so worth it. Camping on the Colorado river by yourself - no one within miles of you. This was also Luna’s first trip which is awesome! We had our own “private island” where we camped out all day admiring the great landscape, passing boats and nothing more 😊
Refreshing - That is how I would describe camping (despite it being hot af). It shows me how to still enjoy the simple, non glamorous, non electronic things. It’s so easy to get caught up in our day-to-day things - don’t forget to stop and slow down once in a while. The journey is just as enjoyable as the final destination.

I am finally home 💜
Я так часто думаю об этом месте, что кажется, что я была здесь вот буквально вчера, а не 4 года назад. Именно эта лавочка каждый раз на моих фотографиях и в воспоминаниях 💟
