I often get asked in my industry “how do you overcome intimidation in the gym?” I personally am not someone who ever had that problem, but I realise that for a lot of girls the thought of going to the gym can be quite scary 🤭🧡 I often train at times where I’m sometimes the only girl in the gym. And understand that some may find that very intimidating. I remember at the start I knew almost nothing about gym based exercises, how to use the equipment etc. •
So here are a few tips on how to deal with intimidation in the gym as I believe it is my duty to help my fellow girls 😘🧘🏻♀️ •
1️⃣ Spend a day familiarising yourself with the equipment. Take your time to understand how it works and how to perform your exercise properly. Read the instructions on the machine or ask a PT to assist you. Don’t do a workout, just a few reps of each exercise to familiarise yourself with the gym. •
2️⃣ Wear what YOU feel comfortable in. I know instagram can be a bit of a gym fashion show and I myself am guilty of wearing crop tops etc. But that does not mean that you have to! I want you to wear what you feel comfortable and relaxed in. You can look amazing in your own beautiful way. 💚 •
3️⃣ What if people are staring? I am going to be brutally honest with you, if people are staring at you, it is probably because you are looking at them. To be honest, I made the same mistake. But everyone is in the gym with a goal and to get stuff done. So focus on your goals, and forget the rest. If you do feel uncomfortable and a guy is creeping you out, notify a staff member immediately! After all your safety is very important 💕 •
4️⃣ Music 🎶 Having a killer playlist will really motivate you and pump you up! You can even watch youtube videos while doing cardio 🌞 •
5️⃣ Do it at your own pace! It is not a race. It is an opportunity to work on yourself for yourself. Self-love is the goal here! Do things at YOUR own TIME and YOUR own PACE. •
How we finished today’s workout. Baby on the kitchen floor, mom covered in spit up after taking a break to feed the munchkin but we did it! Now time for a late lunch and a little chill time with a baby who doesn’t want an afternoon nap 👌🏼
Abs are made in the kitchen. Which is hard fricken work! Luckily I have an amazing nutrition program that allows me to eat lots of yummy food, live life, and stay on track! 👊🏽

Girl, getting fit is hard! 😓 It takes discipline, not just motivation. You have to celebrate the small stuff. 🎉 That one more rep, going one more minute. You’re not going to see changes everyday, but over time you may not even recognize yourself!
Want to know why you can’t please everyone? 🤔
Because the people telling you to love yourself are the same people telling you to stop showing off.
The only option you have is to keep doing what you believe to be the right thing #YouDoYou
Be thankful for each day, because with every new sunrise brings new opportunities - All you need to do is capture them.
Look for the bright side and choose positivity. You never know which grey cloud may just have a silver lining.🙏🖤 #beasweats
When I first saw my back side my side...not gonna lie I felt defeated because the only part I was focused on was that one part of my midsection. I really did not feel confident at all.😩 .
After looking at this picture I started to notice all the parts that HAVE changed, and I started to feel a little better. I have only been doing this for 8 weeks, and I should be proud of my progress!💪🏼 .
This photo is exactly why it’s called a JOURNEY.🙌🏼Results don’t happen over night and you have to keep going to achieve the results you want! .
I really struggle with my self image and I hate that people feel that way!👎🏼 .
Our next bootcamp is starting soon & I have spots available! Message me and start your journey with me!☀️🤗
Another Monday. Who is busy? 🙋🏼♀️ This girl and I’m sure you are too! •
But no one is always busy. It’s about priorities. You have to make time for the things that are important to you. ✨
And if you’re going to be busy, at least be too busy watering your own grass, that you don’t notice if someone else’s is greener 🌱

Good Monday morning to you!

✨When it's Monday and you're just about out of your #momcrack / #gogojuice / #liquidgold , you chug from the tub.✨
It's an all natural way to get energy and that little push that helps me push play! It can also be used as a coffee replacement or as a mid-day pick me up to help you get alllll the things done!
...and with loads of laundry that are still sitting in a pile from this weekend you better believe I'm opening a new tub to give me moving this afternoon!
We continue to inspire when we surround ourselves with inspiration. I am so proud to be a part of this community.🙏🖤 #beasweats @rosebudthewriter

Our #2monthold munchkin and I had a great week. Workouts, lots of friend visits, breakfasts out with family and now pedicures and Costco to round out the weekend. Maybe a walk around the neighborhood is in our future since the weather is so nice!
BE KIND TO YOURSELF🙏🖤 A reminder that above all, you need to be kind to yourself and listen to your body.
I wasn’t very well on Thursday night and still felt poorly on Friday morning, but I pushed through and started a gym session doing PWR week 32 legs anyway - I shouldn’t.
I couldn’t listen to music because my head felt so sore, and every deadlift made me feel more nauseous. I toppled over with a barbell on my shoulders whilst lunging with my back foot on a bench which really hurt, but (still not listening!) I carried on going.
It was only on the burnout pulse squats that I decided I needed to stop. This was after falling (for a second time!) backwards onto my butt. My balance was totally off and didn’t feel with it at all.
This was the first time I’ve worked out but not felt proud - I felt defeated, but not because I had failed to complete the workout but because I didn’t listen to my body. I should have rested and taken care of myself in that moment but I chose not to.
Self-care is exceptionally important and if there’s one thing I need to work on, it’s remembering to look after myself. I put so much effort into battling my mind that often I forget to work with it, and that is often the best way to get through.🖤 I’ve taken this weekend off and away from the gym because I need a break. Spending time with friends and family is the real rest I need and I hope that if you’re feeling the same, you let yourself have this time too.🖤 #beasweats
I got the sweetest message last night from someone who has been following along with my journey. It makes me so happy if I even help just one person find happiness again through fitness and health. YOU keep me going when I don’t want to workout or make a healthy choice. YOU hold me accountable. YOU help my fitness journey just as much as I hope to help yours! ✨

We all fail. We all fall short. Yet even though I may fail over and over again, I don't let it derail me. I still wake up everyday and try again to become a better version of myself. Some days I feel as if I'm getting somewhere and getting closer to the best version of me. Other days I eat pretzels and frosting for dinner. But the gift of life is that we get another chance tomorrow. -Rachel Hollis
It's never too late to make changes.
It's never too late to begin again.
It's never too late to choose JOY.
This could be the start of your new beginning... because the good ol' days are still to come! Happy weekend, friends! 🌿
The angles were working miracles this morning! I am so excited for tonight though. This mama is getting out of the house while dad watches Lily. There will be wine and fancy cocktails and some serious relaxing to top off this week!
