🌲 Planning on planting a tree this fall? Here are good reasons to do it! Trees clean the air and help you breathe. 🌳 Trees don’t just absorb CO2, they also absorb odours and pollutants like nitrogen oxides, ammonia, sulfur dioxide and ozone. It’s estimated that one tree can absorb nearly 10 pounds of polluted air each year and release 260 pounds of oxygen.
Yesterday was National #LoveaTreeDay ! Let's celebrate our love for trees and all that they do for Mother Earth. ⠀
🌲Trees absorb carbon dioxide and potentially harmful gasses, such as sulfur dioxide, carbon monoxide, from the air. ⠀
🌴 Trees create an ecosystem to provide habitat and food for birds and other animals. ⠀
🌳 One large tree can supply a day's supply of oxygen for four people. ⠀
🎋 Strategically planting trees and shrubs can save you up to 25 percent on your energy bills. ⠀
Did you know today is #nationalloveatreeday ? I’m not much of a #treehugger , but this is one tree I’ve wrapped my arms around and begged to not die. It appears to be on its way out; years of drought have taken their toll on this majestic tree that would literally slice the house my grandparents built in half if it fell. I’m open to suggestions for things to do with its wood; preferably something creative and not merely splitting it for firewood. If memory serves, it’s a cedar. #calaveras#calaverascounty#forest#loveatreeday#woodworking

When deciding to put a tree branch in our window, we took a chance and watered it each day to see if we could get it to bloom. Welp....we are shook 😍 Swipe to see the transformation!

It’s #nationalloveatreeday ❤️🌲. It’s also #tbt . This picture is from a couple of years ago. It’s me giving Steve a big ol’ hug 😍. Steve lives in the backyard of my old house. I miss him. And that backyard.
It's National Love A Tree Day! 🌲🌳🌴 Did you know... A human breathes about 9.5 tons of air in a year, but oxygen only makes up about 23% of that air, and we only extract a little over 1/3 of the oxygen from each breath (approximately 740kg of oxygen per year). Thus, having plants and trees produce oxygen is vital for us! It takes rougly seven or eight trees' worth of oxygen (per year) to make up the oxygen difference that a human needs.
