Mussenden Temple is located in one of the most amazing coastal locations in the world. 😍 Tag a friend!
It is perched literally at the edge of a cliff which falls away to the rocks and beach far below.
It was originally built as a library, and the inscription on the outside of the temple reads, "Suave, mari magno turbantibus aequora ventis e tarra magnum alterius spectare laborem" which translates to "Tis pleasant, safely to behold from the shore, the troubled sailor, and hear the tempests roar."
It is one thing to have both the leisure time and a good book, but the Earl Bishop tops them all when it comes to creating a magnificent building with such a great view to house his books. What an amazing location for a library!

I went to the liquor store yesterday on my bicycle, bought a bottle of whisky and put it in the bicycle basket.
As I was about to leave, I thought to myself that if I fell off the bicycle, the bottle would break. So I drank all the whisky before I cycled home.
It turned out to be a very good decision, because I fell off seven times on the way home. Peace.
This is one of those places you really need to stand back and decide where you want to start. Theirs a lot to be said about panoramas and framing. This is an area I am unfamiliar with, but after taking a good look and scoping out what it was that I wanted to shoot it was not as overwhelming as I thought. I spent a good 20 minutes just watching the mist roll in out, the pond flickering as the odd tadpole or salamander surfaced and the trees as they changed colour with different light. The light on the trees is what really caught my eye, the yellows especially. The most difficult part of this shot was standing completely still in 2’ of cold water waiting for that perfect moment to shoot. Every time I’d move the water would ripple out in to the frame and my feet would sink deeper in to the muck. It’s a good feeling when you are prepared for shots like this. I feel right in my element in these moments, early morning, hot coffee, waders on, standing in cold ass water in 4” of mucky pond sludge...good times!
It takes us 9 months to get here and a lifetime to go there. We all go through the same entry door, the only thing that differs is the different path we take that will finally lead us to the same destination at the end of our days. .
You ready for the weekend guys ? Any plans ? .
Oh also that's @shankara.motay 's arm 😂
Peace guys ✌️
