Whats most people don’t know is that everyday i struggle (like-every-one-else) but some days are worst with all the nasty chronic pain i have to live with due to my SCI (spinal-cord-injury) .

  • Трудно делать элементы, так как вес на данный момент уже около 64кг. Практически 10 кило разница с прошлым сезоном! Но это так и нужно, добью уверенных 65 и буду плотно браться за фристайл и надеюсь выйти на новый для себя уровень! Всем прогресса!

  • 𝕋𝕙𝕖 𝕘𝕠𝕠𝕕 𝕤𝕥𝕦𝕗𝕗: Last night was awful (in my head). A longtime follower/friend told me that she was having a terrible night. I sang/played her a song on the piano and sent her a video. She said it made her night better, and then hearing that made MY night better. I was upset about some dumb shit, but thinking about someone else completely changed my attitude. What a blessing. Featuring a natural light leak from HUJI cam.

  • To call @summer_buns cancer benefit class, a class just doesn’t feel right. It was an experience. Honoring her grandmother and all those who are fighting or have fallen. Providing us with cards to write to whom we dedicated the practice to place at the top of our mats to see during the practice. For me it’s my sister @kim_washington14 . She’s all I thought about while moving. She has fought breast cancer 3 times. Each time with courage and grace. Importantly her FAITH NEVER WAIVERED. Oh think about it, 3 times and still she always believed that God had her. Thankfully and regrettably she lit the way for me. A sounding board and supporter I FEEL her even though she lives far away. As fate would have my watch vibrated with her calling in the middle of the class. Let’s just say I’m grateful for the sweaty environment. I pretty much lost it. But they were happy tears. Happy because she had the strength to fight hard so, selfishly,  she’s still on this earth to be my big sister. Love you sis!   • 14 & under Potomac Valley Invitational 2/15 & 2/16
200m Cyrah submitted a qualifying time of 37+ seconds. Coach put her in at 36 sec. During the semi-finals Cyrah placed 7th/56 girls. With the top 12 advancing to the finals.  we knew she was going to be placed in the slower heat. She needed to run faster than the 36 seconds that qualified her but she also needed to run faster than the 6th placed girl in the faster heat. And since she was in the slower heat she couldn’t rely on the faster girls to lead the pace. Cyrah not only ran faster but she got a personal record of 35.30. She was faster than the 6th placed girl in the 2nd heat! It was so exciting and nerve wracking to look at the board and see 5th place 34 secs and then 6th place 36 sec! She did it!!!! Her coach was right there and we were all so proud of her.  800m....well that’s just a hard race and she managed to keep a great pace and got a 4th place medal.
400m was just devastating. She was in the last heat to run. Was geared up and ready to go. The gun went off and her foot came out of her shoe. All she could think to do was pick up her shoe, walk off the track and cry. I cried with her. She couldn’t run the 400m. They wouldn’t let her compete for it. So she made a promise that she was going to get her medals for her other two races and she did just that 😍😍. #track #trackandfield #running #200m #800m #athlete #nevergiveup #setgoals

They’ll think your dreams are too big for you. That they’re unachievable for you. And unfortunately there are probably more people thinking this than thinking you can do it.

Being told you can do something, doesn’t evoke that same emotion, that same challenge, that same push as being told you can’t do it.

  • Ya’ll I just did something I’ve never done before this weekend in Diablo Grande CA. I did 3 separate Spartan Races: Super (6.8miles +30 obstacles) Trail (10k:6.6miles*no obstacle; just crazy mountain climbs) Sprint (4miles +20 obstacles). In total I trekked up these mountains 17.4 miles with 50 obstacles and a TON of burpees this weekend. •

Full transparency: I’m a mom. I’m also a body positive athlete (I’ve had major weight-loss; 90lbs(yes- I have loose skin👀)) I’m 5’6 and 195lbs(doesn’t matter but you wondered👀😂). I wear compression gear, carried a 5lb hydration pack and I wear knee braces(bad knees) during these races...YOU CAN DO ANYTHING YOU SET YOUR HEART AND MIND TO! Don’t ever let anyone convince you otherwise; especially yourself! •

One thing I tell all of my clients: 
You are strong. You are capable and you are worthy of the things you want for yourself! Go out and get em! No excuses. 
Above all: LOVE YOURSELF 🌻

  • A day that will be locked in my history books forever.... after 27 years of golf I FINALLY broke 80!!!! I shot 101 on my first round and decided to play again and got teamed up with two Hobbs Eagles Seth and Kelen and they lead me to my first ever sub 80 round!!! Thanks boys!! Finished in the dark on 18 which is possible when your ball is right down the middle!!! What a day!! #HardWorkPaysOff #NeverGiveUp

I have been pretty open with all my gut health struggles because I want to be able to help others who are suffering with it🤍⁣

I have 𝘚𝘪𝘣𝘰 (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth) and have been off and on with treating it the past almost two years.  I dove back in with treatments in September and it has been 𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡:⁣
❗️The supplements made me nauseous and very bloated.⁣
❗️Emotionally, it has sucked because I’ve had to look and feel that every day. ⁣
❗️I was thinking about it daily, and it was f*cking with my head and my mood as hard as I tried to not let it control me.⁣
❗️Between September and December I put on 6 pounds of fat.⁣
⁣
About a month ago I basically had a mental breakdown on the phone with my mom. I was so sick of feeling/looking like that➡️ especially because I didn’t have much control over it. I then decided to stop the treatments of killing off the sibo and candida. ⁣

Currently, I am feeling and looking better which gives me 𝘩𝘰𝘱𝘦, and that is what I needed💜Not sure when I will continue with treatments but for now I will manage it with the foods I put into my body. Not ideal because I’m just putting a bandaid on it..😏⁣

But through all the tears and emotions I 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘨𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘶𝘱, I 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘤𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘯 𝘮𝘺𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧, & I continued to 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘶𝘱 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘮𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘢𝘥𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘮𝘺 𝘝𝘪𝘳𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘭 𝘎𝘺𝘮. The 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 I belong to and the 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 I get is so powerful and that’s what kept me from saying F*ck it and giving up💖 (And of course the support from mom☺️). .

  • Being overweight my ENTIRE LIFE I tried plenty of diets and quick fixes. Maybe it was something i saw in a magazine or heard someone talk about, but pretty much anything that would give me a temporary false hope that i could finally lose the weight i tried.

It's just not something that can be done LONG TERM....(or in my case for even a day😂💯😂💯😂) It wasn't until i had the mindset shift that I needed to LEARN how to just LIVE healthy. Forever. Now THAT can be done long term. Aka LIFESTYLE!👌💯 Can I get a amen???

Its crazy im healthier and happier in my 30's AFTER  2 kids than i ever was in my 20's before kids. My girls deserve a healthy mom and everyday i work HARD to provide that for them. 🖤

  • This week was a tough one... fighting off a head cold while still trying to maintain some level of activity. Let’s just say staying on the “wagon” was a real challenge. 
The key is to try and pick yourself up the next day and keep pushing towards your goals. I’m going to champion next week!

  • It’s amazing what can be achieved when you stay in your lane, focus on your weekly progress and what you want to achieve. Ride your own wave 🌊. Row your own waka. 
When I started to learn to lift I had chronic thoracic issues and was told to never lift. 90 for 8 may not be significant to some people, but it is to me, I know what my bodies been through. 
Consistency always wins.

  • I just want to say to every one suffering in silence; we are never out of the fight. We all can use help in our lives from time to time. I’m no better than anyone else, we all have gone through our shit in life. We all have gone through our own combat in life. The last 4 months have been really hard on me. And that’s ok, because I’m a firm believer in our struggles are and will be our biggest strengths. That’s my religion. Despite having people close in my life pass away, despite being called a failure by some of my closest family members when all I’ve done is try my hardest to take care of them, despite those family members trying to break me and my mother over jealousy, greed, and power in our family business, despite my depression, and despite the things I’ve hdone and seen in this life; over the past few months I have gotten up at 0530 6 days a week and been consistently disciplined in training my 37 year old body and mind to fight for a cause in Africa I so heartily believe in and if necessary will sacrifice what ever it takes to be the difference. I want to thank my true family you know who you are and especially my brothers Matt and Sam for always being there for me. And especially my disabled brother Sam who never complains and says to me daily that everything will be ok. I want to say to everyone it’s ok to struggle, to be weak at times, because we have a choice to turn these things into our greatest of strengths. I will be going back to AFRICA March 25 to look at land to start my own Antipoaching unit, and give back to a place that has truly brought me back to life. We all can make a difference in this world on our own humble levels. Everyone who try’s to make a difference is just as important as the next. My mother and I are hosting an art show/fundraiser/auction/raffle FEBRUARY 29th to raise money to purchase land in Africa to open most of it to the wild, and have a camp where I will train my Antipoaching unit. Bringing in Veterans to not only operate on my Antipoaching teams, but help with Veterans mental health as Africa has so helped my mental health. Please come and support my cause. Build trust in yourself by breaking the habit of questioning your decisions

  • Killed it training shoulders today @thegymhd ! 😁 Was a high intensity volume session so it was tough being carbless.... However got a crazy pump still. Trying to look like melted ice come this spring. 🤘 I am down 7 pounds and another 23-28 is the goal. Did 8 sets of 2 variations for military presses. Then did 4 sets of shoulder presses on the hammer strength machine, 6 sets of upright rows, 5 sets of front delt laterals and 4 sets of rear delt raises. Each exercise was to muscle failure after each top set. 💪Progress nonetheless! Let's get better today. 🙏
