Spring is (finally) in the air here in #nyc 🌱 that means shopping in the #flowerdistrict and... allergies! How can you help itching eyes? Avoid touching your eyes, make sure to gently clean 👀s to remove any allergens on your eyelashes and wear sunglasses to protect your eyes from any pollen in the air (and bonus, UV rays as well)

Happy Friday friends! If you’ve been watching my stories you will know I’m a bit obsessed with springtime in NYC. Its easily becoming my favorite time to be in the city! Don’t get me wrong- I love Christmas in New York. It’s so iconic & romantic. But SPRING is pretty great too. The weather is amazing & it’s not hot enough yet to be gross & sticky in the subways. Plus, there are flowers everywhere: cherry blossoms in Central Park, daffodils in sidewalk plant boxes & hidden flower festivals in community gardens! Today I happened to walk past a Tulip Festival in the West Side Community Garden and I had to check it out! •
Have you been enjoying the spring weather??
Zoveel zin in! Mocht je nog tips hebben dan hoor ik ze graag ☺️.
Rent in Manhattan, Brooklyn & Queens hits new highs, report shows.
New Yorkers looking for a new apartment in the next couple of months shouldn't expect any bargains, according to a StreetEasy report released Thursday.
The real estate listing site's report on the first quarter of 2019 for Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens properties found that median rent for the three boroughs reached new highs.
Manhattan's median rent was $3,217 — a 2.6% jump from the first quarter of 2018, and, according to StreetEasy's records, the quickest jump in rent in the borough since 2016. Brooklyn's median rent was $2,608, a 2.2% jump from the same period last year; and Queens's median rents were $2,173, a 2.5% increase from the first quarter of 2018.

It finally feels like Spring! Who wants to go out and play some ball? ⚽️🌞🌻 #FridayFeeling .
To commemorate our inaugural role as @sofarsounds hosts, we created a poster series that combines quintessential New York scenes and objects with circular shapes to mark the spontaneity and diversity of the concert series.
The first step towards enlightenment is gratitude. Remember that we have more than we can recognize. We wake up and grumble about having to go to work or pay bills, can we take a second to appreciate that you GET to go to work? That you GET to pay for hot running water?
Take minute everyday and thank the world around you for supporting the life you get to live. #gratitudeisthebestattitude 📸 @photo_slayer
