  • The heart of a father is the masterpiece of nature (Antoine-François Prévost) . . .

Amazing clouds above the Met Museum captured yesterday. Happy Father’s Day to beautiful husband; you do make this parenting journey much easier! Also to all fathers, and those who fills the role of a father out there; May your Sunday be an amazing one! 💐🙏💕😴 🌸☕️🥰. #NewYorkCity

  • my favorite quality in a person is being that one person who listens to your story when no one else is paying attention and asks you to carry on if you start and get talked over

  • American Copper Buildings (originally known as 626 First Avenue) is a dual-tower residential skyscraper in the Murray Hill neighborhood of New York City, in Manhattan. The two towers are connected by a skybridge which will include amenities for residents. According to the developers, it is the first such bridge constructed in Manhattan in eighty years. 📷 by @ydphotog #nyc #nycarchitecture #newyorker #newyorkcity #newyorkcitylife

  • This weekend has been a complete recharge.
Tidying, self care and art.
I haven’t had the motivation to draw/paint for months.
For the first time this year I’m feeling a little bit more like me 💕

  • My first time in New York - I waited to be as far as a 25-hour flight from NYC to decide to visit it (it’s only an 8-hour flight from europe!). I wanted to share my impressions about this iconic and kind of crazy city. In short, I loved it but it would not be my first choice as a place to live (I could definitely live there though). I loved the energy and that you can basically find anything, anywhere at any time (for example - an uber at 3am without any issues). It’s very easy to walk anywhere and when you start to get to know the city, you know where to go to find the best places to eat, shop and chill. And it’s actually pretty easy to cycle (it’s better than Sydney by all means!). There’s so much art and culture, almost too much for a lifetime, it’s kind of overwhelming. Despite a bad reputation, the coffee is actually pretty good when you go to the right places. There are heaps of vegan options especially when it comes to junk foods - I had the most delicious burgers, pizza, sandwiches and fries. The architecture is beautiful (well it’s NYC). And lastly despite expectations, I found NYC pretty safe! Now, NYC has typical big city features: It’s very fast-paced, there’s a lot of people (and tourists), people are not rude but not particularly nice either (expect big cities behaviour), it’s noisy and not very clean. It’s VERY expensive but not much more than a city like London. And lastly it’s very very hard to find public toilets (which is surprising for Aussies, but not to a frenchy like me haha). With all the fast-foods and the on the go lifestyle it just feels hard to reduce waste. A lot of foods are pre-packaged even in healthy fast foods. I was kind of missing the chill and easy vibe of Sydney! All of these positives and negatives are really personal perspectives - it does not really mean that it’s good or bad, I guess it’s just my personal preferences when it comes to a place. Have you been to New York? What did you think?

  • A part of me says, “Get out there young, beautiful one! Don’t worry about it! Go have fun!”. Another part of me says, “You better get serious! Focus hard on your dream or get left behind!”.
⠀
I try to listen to both. I know I’m in the right place to be and I have the right people around me — even if some of them are 9,000 miles away.
⠀
I try to live in the moment and appreciate small things in life. I try to thank myself for all my accomplishments and thrive for more.
⠀
And I promise (myself) always to take care of myself.

P.S. RIP my beautiful earrings that I lost this Friday at the party 🙏🏻
