A plantation will grow if it has all the necessary elements for that. Starting with the soil, then the seed, the water, the sun, the nutrients and the time. There’re other elements, they work as part of the process combining ingredients and processes not controlled by the farmer. Without them harvest is no complete.
Those are elements of fertilization, like the wind, birds and insects. They work unintentionally on the process, because their real intention is not fertilize, but they end up contributing with the process of fertilization. By carrying the pollen from one field to another they are influencing on the final result. External elements, out of the grammar, like globalization, immigration, have a huge effect on words.
One of the external elements on fertilization is the BUTTERFLY. This is our word today. There’re some different opinions about why they gave the insect this name. Some say it’s because of the color of the wings in some species, other say it’s because the color of fezes, some say it’s because of the texture and also, because they say they like to land on the milk to steel the butter out of it. It’s definitely a case of a name given according to the behavior. Someone looked to the insect, observed what it was doing and named it because of that. I don’t know about the butterflies, but we don’t usually like to be labeled.
Maybe you’re fighting against a “name” someone gave to you. Perhaps you’re saying to yourself, it’s not fair. People are looking to different aspects of our life. To which one do you want them to be impressed?

How did you choose your baby’s name?
We thought we’d be smart and choose short names that couldn’t be shortened to something we didn’t like, it didn’t even cross our minds they’d be lengthened 🤣 They often get called by family Lily-Pilly and Ella-Bella 🤷🏻♀️
This beautiful necklace I had made with the girls names and birthstones is from @joyalijewellery

Big Moo (Maggie) is doing a fantastic job. Definitely a pleaser! We'll be tying in these basic #commands with #hand#signals , doing a lot of #public access, and continuing her manners inside the house.
Can we talk about nicknames for a minute
I'm a ''Chops''. Or a ''Lucy Chops''. Occasionally a “Chop-a-roo”
At school for a short time I was a ''Lucy-Poose-Poose''.....I'm glad I left that one behind! (I admit I just googled 'Poose' to make sure it wasn't something awful)
I'm intrigued to know what you go by...and if you'll share it?!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Go on...I dare you...
Lovely little Chops poster from @cherryadestore and a look at some of the other gorgeous pockets around their boutique 🌱 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
PS. for those of you who read this far (anyone..?) a Poose is ''the seaward undercurrent created after waves have broken on the shore'' - so there you go, who knew?!
They all have #nicknames for a reason! The names match them! #hammer so far, is the one I’m keeping. He WILL require #shutzhundtraining , otherwise, he will be a very tough puppy/dog for family! He’s (I am pretty sure, the most working pup of the entire litter) #dazzle and #sweety are just precious! #sassy is just that! Sassy! And precious as well 💗💓💞 The boys... #chuck and #spunk are very playful and will also make that great dog for families! ALL OF THEM ARE CAPABLE OF TRAINING IN OBEDIENCE AND SPORT! Hammer will be a bit of a handful if not trained and kept occupied 💙🖤
'Meet the' namaste bridge' in Rotterdam. The real name is Erasmus bridge, designed by architect Ben van Berkel in 1996. Yesterday I crossed this bridge to meet the children group for Mindfulness and laughter yoga and I stopped for a picture. This bridge has the nickname 'the Swan', but I can not stop to call it Namaste bridge, because it really is the namaste pose - you even see the elbows - and it connects the city. It greets everybody whole day long, 24/7. I love it #namaste#erasmusbrug#benvanberkel#nicknames#bridges#iloverotterdam#mustsee#namastebridges

Lola adores these two women, Bree and Jen. They greet her every morning when she arrives at Access Behavior Analysis and she visits (ok, maybe borderline harasses) them several times throughout her day. 🙃😉 She is so fond of them that she gave them their very own nicknames months ago—Bunny and Trippy. ☺️ We aren’t sure where the names came from but they’ve embraced them and surprised Lola with shirts adorning those nicknames. 😭🥰 Our daughter is surrounded by the best people at Access and we are very grateful to have this village teaching, guiding and loving our child. 💙 #daughter#happy#friends#aba#bbsoas#nr2f1#kindness#nicknames
