Makeup won’t ruin your skin if you chose the right products, right techniques and resort to a good post makeup skincare routine.
I do a 2 or 3 step cleansing every time I wear heavy makeup. Post that, is the skin treatment step and finally the moisturisation step. Once or twice a week I do a facial massage with my hands or the ball thing from @thebodyshopkuwait and the face oil used here is the @neemli Turmeric & Olive squalene, also reviewed on YT.

Real reason I’m sharing: I’ve been scruffy for the past year and a half, and I finally got the go ahead from my dermatologist to shave again (was dealing with some nasty ish on my face caused by stress and anxiety). I think I’ve just shaved 5 years off my age. But also, I hate shaving. But also I hate the feel of facial hair on my face. Basically you can’t please me.

  • Today's BLUE mask for the #rainbowmaskchallenge is the Goodal Water Full Mask Firming. 💙This mask contains Salicornia herbacea water(a water plant), mineral-rich deep sea water and purified enzymes that moisturize the skin. It also containes marine collagen for firming. 💙This is my first time to try a goodal mask and the mask is super thin. It was abit difficult unfolding it because of how thin it is but it went on really great on my face. Fit was pretty exact on my face. 💙The mask was soaking wet when I took it out of the package. The mask had soaked up most of the essence so there wasn't a lot left in the package. Maybe because of the watery theme, the essence didn't come off very sticky.
💙I masked for 30 minutes and my face was pretty hydrated right after but not so much the next morning. BUT my face was soft and brighter so the firming part was working very well. 💙I enjoyed this mask. Very easy to wear and anything that gives firmness to my skin is great! 💙今日のテーマは青いのマスク。今日のマスクはグーダルのウォーターフルマスクファーミング。このブランドの初のマスクです。開けたらマスクはたっぷエッセンスを染み込ませた。マスクのフィット感はよかったです!薄いで顔にぴったり。

  • This was tonight skincare routine. I just tried out yttp and farmacy. So far it feels really a nice on my skin. Green clean did the job and melted my makeup away so much quicker than my other cleansing oils. The yttp superfood cleanser my be my new favorite cleanser so far. It cleaned but my skin still felt so soft after I rinsed my face. The honey potion was a wonderful lightweight moisturizer. A little goes a long way which I love! Do you spot any favorites? 💕✨ I also used the laneige lip sleeping mask.

  • Everynight i quickly apply our dew date oil I know it sounds silly putting oil on your face but just me this will definitely be something you won't regret it gives you a Natural Glow leaves you skin smooth & refreshing  also what i really like you can apply dew date put Foundation over it and it gives you the natural look and you don't even really notice you're wearing Foundation at all nothing about our products is you just need very little and yet it looks so different and nice definitely recommend if you have dry skin use this every night and you will see change😉😊 #routines

  • What a typical night looks like... Apollo (🐶 ) trying to fall asleep, Ghostie (🐱) trying to start chaos, and me with a cup of tea to wind down the night. In vet school, it is hard to get 8 hours of sleep a night. Between test anxiety and things happening outside of your control, it is essential to have a nightly sleep routine. For me, I take a bath, put my pajamas on, drink tea, read (nothing veterinary related), and sometimes take a melatonin.   • Hey guys! I just made this photo my screen background because I am guilty of *sometimes* going to sleep without removing my makeup 🙊😵! Please don’t judge me 😭. I just get caught up sometimes, you know? 🤷🏽‍♀️ Anyways! I heard that it takes 21 days to develop a habit: so starting today, I’ll be diligently removing my makeup and cleansing my face. I hope to see less congestion, breakouts, puffiness and dullness and more refreshed, clear, soft, smooth, healthy looking skin! Who’s with me? 🙋🏽‍♀️
P.S.. it’s 9:30pm and if you’re reading this in bed WITH your makeup still on....it’s time to take a walk to that sink 😚

How many of us think we are doing “all the right things”, but then are slacking on this one little (not so little) part? ✋

Well you’re, not alone. And about 1/3 of Americans are having trouble sleeping every night. And a LOT more don’t get enough...which is at least 6-7 hours btw.

I LOVE sleep. Honestly have little problems sleeping, once I get there. However, I DEFINITELY don’t give myself enough time for it many days.
.
Usually this is due to feeling like I should to get stuff done or have some time for myself, winding down on my phone, watching something, ect. Anyone else feel me on this one? I’m actively working on changing this routine...

With an early morning alarm, I frequently only get about 5 hours max of sleep during the night, which my body does not love. And I feel it. Then dragging through the next day, searching for caffeine, and trying to power through.
.
Sleep is SO important to our overall health. And getting less than 6 hours leads to chronic inflammation, worsening insulin resistance, increased risk for obesity, diabetes, and heart disease. And that’s just the start.
.
On the flip side...sleep enhances memory and mental clarity. It improves athletic performance. Supports weight loss. 
Boosts mood and overall energy. 
Improves immune function. 
Increases stress tolerance. And allows our bodies to rebuild and restore on EVERY level. ☺️👏
.
So it’s time to crawl into bed a little earlier. Make it a priority. Put down the phone, turn off the TV, and find what works best for you to wind down for a great night’s rest.

Take a warm bath, read a great book, journal, meditate, do reiki, set great intentions, find gratitude, have some tea...start a relaxing routine for yourself that works best for you.

You absolutely deserve some restorative and amazing sleepy time!!

Evenings are easily my favorite part of day. I always look forward to the end of a busy day. My perfect routine nighttime routine would consists of a quick workout, shower and a detox facial, chamomile or some other type of relaxing tea, a quick journal entry, and a slight tv veg out with my kids or husband or by myself depending on what kind mood I’m in.
