This is one of my favorite shots I’ve ever taken. Just so happens to be taken in a place that has a huge chunk of my heart. . . . .
We spur of the moment decided to travel by red eye flight there and back with 48 hours in between, but we had a nice escape to Colorado. Our last hours of sunlight were spent in Rocky Mountain National Park where we saw our first snow of the year. We drove through the winding roads of the park and would find ourselves in strong, gusty, chilling winds with snow pelting the car one minute and then find pockets of Colorado sunshine straining to shine through the stormy clouds the next. . . . .
It was good to be back for a moment and to see some of the people and sights I miss so much. But I think we’ll be catching up on sleep and enjoying our home and pets for awhile.
France 🇫🇷 - World Showcase Wednesday
I’ll fill you all in on a little secret. And I call it a secret because no one has ever really talked about it. But France at Epcot has THE BEST SOFT-SERVE ICE CREAM IN THE WORLD!
No, I’m not talking about the ice cream place in the back of the pavilion (that’s hand scooped). It’s the soft serve they serve at the Crepe stand. It’s different than any other soft serve in the Disney parks, but Disney doesn’t tell you that. It’s thicker and creamier. Don’t believe me? Try it for yourself. 😬
