#49ers GM John Lynch talks highly about his star QB Jimmy Garoppolo. Garoppolo, drafted by the Patriots 62nd overall in the 2nd round of the 2014 #NFL Draft, was a “student” of the game behind legendary QB Tom Brady from 2014-2017–Winning two SuperBowls. After Garoppolo was traded to the 49ers from the Patriots in October of 2017, he won his first five starts with the red and gold. In Week 3 of the very next season (2018), Garoppolo tore his ACL against the Chiefs which ended his season. Garoppolo really has had only one full season as a starting QB to this point, and in 2019 we got a good look at what the future has in store for the red and gold, and the future looks bright. The sky’s the limit from here! 🙌🏻😎
*NOTE:I was inactive for a few days (I honestly could of posted but didn’t). In the free time that I had in these past few days, I was working on ideas for new content and how I wanted it to be presented/shared. I’m trying to get used to this new program I’m using, but I’m slowly getting it down. This post is my first official one using a new layout, and from here, this will be the base layout (may tweak it some more a little). Definitely want to take this time to shoutout @oursf49ers for giving me a new idea on what program I could use to make my content better. Mine was a little outdated I guess. Definitely appreciate it fam! 🤙🏻 With all of this being said, in the VERY near future I will be one of the most active 49ers fan pages on Instagram! So if you haven’t followed yet, I’d recommend it! 💯

Super Bowl participating 49ers are drawing a lot of attention amongst the young up & comers. Names like Deebo Samuel could become part of pop culture in the days ahead. Count Colorado wide receiver Laviska Shenault Jr in, as far as destinations he would prefer on draft night, because of both Deebo & Kyle . We’ll be taking your calls tonight on this matter, and everything Niners.

Dante Pettis has only returned 11 punts in the last 2 seasons.. Why? Coach Kyle Shanahan said it was as simple as this: Richie James was better.
“We didn’t think he was our best guy,” Shanahan said of Pettis at the NFL Scouting Combine.
Pettis set the NCAA record with nine punt returns for touchdowns. After Pettis visited the 49ers, the club selected him with the No. 44 overall pick. As a rookie, he fumbled twice while averaging just 3.0 yards on nine returns. He also sustained a knee injury on an early season return against the Los Angeles Chargers.
In 2019, James was reliable. He was fifth in the NFL in return yards and did not have a fumble on 33 punt returns while averaging a respectable 8.0 yards per return.
Shanahan said he wants Pettis to put up a battle to compete with James for the job in 2020. He said he has expressed that expectation to Pettis, too.
“He knows that,” Shanahan said. “I think he’s got a chance to be (the punt returner). But we felt more comfortable with Richie. And I hope Dante tries to take that job from him.

Emmanuel Sanders wants to stay with the San Francisco 49ers, according to Tony Pauline. Pauline also added the 49ers wish you bring back Sanders if the contract isn’t too exorbitant and that it’s very likely Sanders ends up back with the Niners in 2020.

❓Can the 49ers win the SB in 2020❓
Sanders was involved in trade rumors with the Patriots at the deadline but we ultimately traded for Mohamed Sanu, who had two years left on his contract to Sanders’ one. Turns out that as of right now, we made the wrong choice, since Sanders has had much more of an impact on the 49ers than Sanu has had on us. Sanders is now a free agent, so if we wish, we can make another run at him. Sanders is still productive, as he’s shown, and he may have a few years left in the tank. The problem here, as with many other free agents, is price. Sanders will potentially cost upwards of $10 million per year, and I don’t think we can afford that without releasing some players or letting our own free agents walk. .
