Between all the errands, kindergarten runs, work, cleaning the house, cooking, finding time for yourself and all the millions of points on your To-Do list, I would rather sit on the beach, sipping on my fresh coconut and eating tons of seafood.

Who would have been 29 today if not killed by a drunk driver. Her passion was the environment and want to save it thru her work at the experimental lakes area.
Let’s honour her legacy by dramatically reducing our phosphorus sewage from the North Winnipeg Wastewater Plant that is killing Lake Winnipeg.
A plan to address this by early 2020 was presented but isn’t being implemented-to do nothing right now is a failure to protect our future. $5 million interim fix to slow the toxin in early 2020 or wait years more for Provincial and Federal support...The choice is clear-the time is NOW

I have laundry list of things I can speak on regards to that. I'm not judging no one and their choices. At the end of the day you are choosing to stay in "play mode" because either ur afraid or your stuck and to man/woman up and take ur life by the reigns seems like a serious feat.

Today is the first day I started writing again since being back from vacay. It was good to take a break because I’m seeing troublesome scenes with fresh eyes and am able to tackle them with renewed brilliance (oh please let it be brilliance or I will be writing this book for the rest of my life). But now that I’m writing again, I’m obsessed with writing, as in, that’s all I want to do. Well, that and work on creating the most amazing Halloween village ever, and train for that one bucket list item that’s still many years away, and workout, and spend time with Mr. Cody and the husband. And sleep. A lot. I want to do ALL THE THINGS but...there’s no time! Even when I’m super efficient and diligent with my time, there’s still no time! I’d definitely have more of it if I got rid of that whole working thing, but then I’d be shouting a new saying.
I guess, for now, I can’t have it all. So what to do? Devote a little bit of time to each thing every day? Go all in on one or two things for one - two days then rotate? How do you guys make it work? How do you fit in all the things that light your heart on fire while doing the things that don’t yet are necessary? .
September has been a rough month for me for some reason. I have caught myself using excuses more than I have in months and I feel like I can’t get off the struggle bus.
The funny thing is, is I have been non stop busy ever since I was a kid. At one time I played on two soccer teams in the fall, indoor soccer in the winter, softball and soccer in the spring and softball over the summer. I also had school, homework and on the days I didn’t have something I was either hanging out with friends or going to a siblings game. If I was home I had to either help my mom inside or help my dad outside with house work.
Some how I managed to get it all done and keep my grades up so why do I use the excuse that I don’t have time so much now? .
My responsibilities have changed but haven’t necessarily increased that much. School became work, homework became my side hustle, sports became workouts, and house work is house work. .
Sometimes I feel like we use the “I have no time” excuse just because we don’t want to put in the work. However, if we want to see change and not live such a busy life putting in the work now will pay off in the long run. .
All I know is I seriously need to put my head down and focus for the rest of the month if I’m going to even get a little closer to my goals.
Anyone else on the struggle bus this month too?

Are you kidding....I could literally sleep 10-12 hours every single night, so it is not a natural thing. It’s discipline.⠀
Have you ever read the book Miracle Morning? It changed my perspective and my habits.⠀
Every time I wake up with my kiddos, I feel behind, trying to catch up ALL DAY!⠀
But when I wake up to have me time. To do my devotional. Pray. Read my vision. Workout. Read the personal development I need for internal growth. ⠀
I’m a better mom for Lydia and Tate. I’m calmer. More Patient....let’s be real, NOT all the time. 😫 Plus the day tends to go so much more smoothly!! ⠀
So try it for a couple weeks. It’s not easy. But so worth it!! And shoot like you’ve heard before, YOU WERE MADE FOR HARD THINGS!!

I dont have time to do ANYTHING for me.
If you are anything like me you see what needs to be done and that's what you focus on and anything that you want for YOU gets put to the side.
Everything else comes first.
Everyone else comes first.
Knowing that what YOU need and want should be a priority too has been a very big struggle for me. Putting my needs in front of someone's just seemed...SELFISH!!!!
But you know what??
Since I prioritize differently now to INCLUDE myself , things are getting SO much less stressful.
There's actually MORE time now.
